The Mistaway Nozzle Circuit Filter Kit from MistAway is a convenient retrofit replacement kit designed for the Gen 3MistAway Mosquito Misting System. The kit contains all you need to replace the circuit filter of your system to prevent nozzles on your misting circuit from clogging. This circuit filter makes it so your individual nozzles don't need their own filter, saving you time and money on maintenance and future replacements.
Tools Needed
To install the Mistaway Nozzle Circuit Filter Kit all you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver.
How to Use
- Step 1: Before installing the filter, make sure nozzles are misting and there are no kinks or blocks in the nozzle circuit and the pump pressure does not exceed 250 PSI.
- Step 2: Mount bracket (with attached filter) to right wall of misting unit. On the retrofit Gen 3, the filter hangs from the sidewall and is to be secured using 4 included screws.
- Step 3: Open the filter housing and confirm that the O-ring is seated in groove at the top of the housing. Once this is done, fill the housing completely with water.
- Step 4: Position the filter element in the center of the housing and screw filter housing onto the filter head.
- Step 5: Connect 1/4" tubing from misting unit to the port on the pressure release valve and from "OUT" to the nozzle circuit. Once that is done, perform a test misting to ensure everything is working properly.
Where to Use
The MistAway Nozzle Circuit Filter Kit is a part specifically for the Gen 3 retrofit versions of MistAway Mosquito Misting System. It is to be installed between the unit and nozzle circuit. Tubing from the unit connected to the port marked "IN." Tubing from port marked "OUT" feeds nozzle circuit.
When to Use
Replace the Mistaway Nozzle Circuit Filter Kit when you are noticing that your nozzles are becoming clogged and not spraying misting concentrate properly.
Safety Information
MistAway Inline Nozzle Circuit Filters are safe to use when installing according to the instruction manual.
Special Considerations
It is recommended to not have any misting concentrate running in the system when changing out MistAway parts so you don't get any of the fluid on you.

Q:Can this be used with mosquito Nix system?5/19/23A:Yes, but be sure to order the version with the mount that attaches to a 55 gallon barrel drum ring. Also, after install, make sure your system pressure is 250psi.

Q:To install this, do i remove the filters and springs in the nozzles? or are they still needed as well?3/20/18A:Most people would leave the filters, and balls and springs. This is just meant to keep any debris from moving into the nozzles themselves and causing issues. If you were going to remove something then you can take the filters out of the nozzle tips.
