Automatic Mosquito Misting Systems, manufactured by CoastalMister, is a professional yet easy to use misting system that comes with a 55 gallon tank, a timer, and a remote so that protection from mosquitoes is a simple process.

Since this misting system sprays at multiple, pre-planned times each day with its scheduled timer it provides continuous coverage and protection against mosquitoes and other pests without being invasive. Nozzles are bought separately and the system is capable of working with as many as 140 nozzles. Tubing lines are also bought separately and come in black, tan, or white to match most outdoor areas.

The Automatic Mosquito Misting System can be scheduled to run up to 12 times a day with a pre-set time. With the Automatic Mosquito Misting System, controlling mosquitoes outdoors will be as easy as pushing a button.

Tools Needed

To install an Automatic Mosquito Misting System, risers, tubing, nozzles, measuring tape, tubing cutters, a screw gun, drill bits, clamps, and screws are needed to ensure the tubing lines and nozzles are properly connected. The risers will enable the nozzles to be installed around flowerbeds and the clamps will enable the nozzles to be connected to fence lines or the eaves of roofs.

How to Use

• Step 1: Set up the misting system tank in an area protected from outdoor elements. You should then map out the desired areas for the tubing lines to be run to create a circuit and where the misting nozzles should be placed around the outdoor area.
• Step 2: Run tubing lines around the perimeter of the house, along fence lines, and other areas and then install the nozzles along the tubing line where the mosquito misting is needed.
• Step 3: Fill the system tank with the correct amount of the desired concentrated mix and set the timer located on the tank. It is suggested to set the timer so that the misting system sprays before nightfall to kill the mosquitoes hiding in shrubs and other areas.
• Step 4: Make sure pets and children are indoors during the misting application and periodically check tubing lines for leaks and build up to ensure maximum use.

Where to Use

Automatic Mosquito Misting Systems are great to have for residential use around patios, swimming pools, and other recreational areas. Misting systems are ideal for large areas that can be time-consuming to treat with a handheld fogger or sprayer, such as golf courses. Do not install the Automatic Mosquito Misting System tank in an area known for flooding.

When to Use

Automatic Mosquito Misting Systems come with remote control and timer that can be set to make applications when needed and for the duration needed. The system can be set up to mist up to 12 times a day. Applications should be made within 1 to 2 hours before going outside to enjoy outdoor activities.

Special Considerations

Before using a concentrated insecticide product in the Automatic Mosquito Misting System, be sure the product is compatible with the system and make sure the right amount of product is mixed with the right amount of water for best results.

The pumps are able to run dry for some time without damage. Additionally, you can plan when it will go empty based off of the number of nozzles that are used- 100 nozzles in one month, 50 nozzles in 2 months, 25 nozzles in 4 months, etc.

Depending on the type of concentrated mix used, various types of insects and mosquitoes can be controlled.
