Pesticide Backpack Sprayers
A backpack sprayer is similar to a handheld pump sprayer, except it has a much larger spray capacity. It allows for the precise application of pesticides and herbicides in areas too large for a handheld pump sprayer to easily cover, such as a wide area on a lawn or the perimeters of larger structures.
Solutions Pest & Lawn carries a variety of backpack sprayers designed to save you time and make it convenient to conduct a large-volume treatment over a wide area. Our backpack sprayers come with padded backing and straps, making it very easy to carry around large amounts of chemicals comfortably.

Recommendation
We recommend the Solutions Electric Backpack Sprayer for general and professional users. It’s user-friendly, lightweight, and maneuverable, and it's lithium-ion battery-powered, so it does not require hand pumping to create pressure.
User Guide
Step 1: Fill the Reservoir
First, fill a separate mixing tank half full with water (about 2 gallons when using a 4-gallon capacity sprayer). Then, refer to your pesticide product's manual for the proper mix rate per gallon of water.
Measure out the amount instructed and add it to the water, then replace the cap and screw it down tight. Agitate the mixture until it’s a uniform solution.
Finish filling with the remaining amount of water. Mix the solution before pouring it into the sprayer.
Screw the cap back on tight and agitate once more.
Step 2: Flip the Switch and Spray
Once your reservoir is filled and your solution is mixed, turn the switch to "l" to begin spraying. Put on the backpack harness and ensure all straps are tight and secure.
Inspection and Maintenance
It is recommended that you inspect your Solutions Electric Backpack Sprayer before each use and flush and empty the system once your application is complete, especially if you store your equipment for a long time between uses.
Inspection
To inspect the system, first visually inspect for any obvious damage, such as tears in the hose or a hole in the reservoir. If none are found, add a little water to the reservoir, activate the electric pump, and spray some into a patch of grass or dirt to ensure the unit is still holding pressure and there are no leaks. If everything appears normal, finish adding your pesticide product and the remaining water.
Charging
Remember, this unit is powered by a lithium-ion cell. If the cell is not charged, the internal pump will not create pressure. Take care not to overcharge this cell by leaving it plugged in for an extended period of time.
Flushing the System
It is recommended that after each treatment, you thoroughly rinse out your Solutions sprayer and spray the rinsate over the treatment area. This will ensure your sprayer is kept in good condition between applications. It is not recommended that you store mixed products inside the sprayer unit, as in some cases, the product may lose efficacy over time, which could damage your sprayer.
Parts
This backpack sprayer consists of a lithium-ion battery pack, a reservoir, a hose, a wand, a spray tip, and a harness.
Lithium-Ion Battery Pack
The Solutions Battery-Powered Backpack Sprayer is internally powered, unlike handheld sprayers, which are pumped manually. This increases user convenience and reduces operator fatigue. A full charge allows up to two and a half hours of spray time. Flip a switch and start spraying.
The Reservoir
The reservoir holds the mixed product until you’re ready to spray. Our recommended unit has a four-gallon reservoir, enough to treat the perimeter of a large structure or even a wider area such as a yard or field.
The Hose
The hose connects the reservoir to the wand, and the spray product travels through it to the sprayer tip.
The Wand
The wand is the part the operator holds and uses to aim the chemical spray. The Solutions Backpack Sprayer's wand is durable stainless steel, perfect for most jobs.
The Spray Tip
The spray tip focuses the spray as it leaves the wand. Our backpack sprayer has an adjustable tip for added versatility. This allows for multiple spray configurations, such as a fine mist, cone spray, or pin stream.
The Harness
Backpack sprayers come with either two back straps or an entire harness rig.
