Tools Needed

No tools are needed to use the Solutions Battery-Powered Backpack Sprayer, but be sure to wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when spraying chemicals.

How to Use

• Step 1: Fully charge the battery before your first use. Open the battery housing door and clip in the battery, making sure it fits snuggly. Close the battery compartment, clicking the clear-view door shut.
• Step 2: Mix your chemical solution by first filling the spray tank halfway with water. Pour in the desired amount of pesticide, and then fill the tank the rest of the way with water to agitate.
• Step 3:  Put on the backpack sprayer making sure it sits comfortabley on your back. Turn the pump on by flipping the power switch on the side of the sprayer. The pump will begin pressurizing; after between 5 to 10 seconds you will be ready to spray.
• Step 4: Begin spraying your solution by pressing down on the spray handle's trigger plate. Spray patterns can be changed from a fogging mist to pin stream by rotation the nozzle. Use a fogging mist when making general, localized applications or when treating ornamental foliage. Use a pin stream setting for making targeted spot applications or treating hard to reach areas.
