Tekko Trio IGR Concentrate, manufactured by Control Solutions, is a professional insect growth regulator comprised of 3 active ingredients (hydroprene, pyriproxyfen and novaluron). These three IGR with distinct modes of action combine together to make a powerfully effective super IGR that effectively disrupts insect development and reproduction of eggs.

Tekko Trio's formula is volatile and can easily move through voids, cracks and crevices where pests are hiding like cockroaches, flies and stored product pests. When treated with Tekko Trio, the Novaluron in the product disrupts the development of chitin, which stops immature insects from properly forming their exoskelton, resulting in eventual death. Both Hydroprene and Pyriproxyfen work as juvenile hormone mimics, further stopping the affected insects from growing into reproductive adults.

Tekko Trio's IGR concentrate is effective in halting reproductive cycles against bed bugs, mosquitoes, cockroaches, and a wide range of other common problem pests. For cockroaches, Tekko Trio has the ability to stop reinfestation for up to 180 days.

Tekko Trio can be applied in indoor cracks and crevices as well as spot applications and void applications, making it ideal for controlling infestations in commercial kitchens, bars, drains, and dishwashers.

Tools Needed

To use Tekko Trio, you will need to mix the concentrate into a handpump sprayer, backpack sprayer or hose-end sprayer depending on the size of the treatment area and what target pest you are looking to treat.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Tekko Trio will be needed for your target pest and treatment area by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure (in feet) the area length and width, then multiply the two values (length x width = square footage). Depending on the pest you are treating, Tekko Trio can be mixed at a rate of 0.5 to 1 fl. oz. per gallon to cover between 1,000 to 1,500 sq. ft. So for example, to treat cockroaches indoors, you would need to mix 1 fl. oz. of Tekko Trio per gallon of water to treat 1,000 sq. ft. To treat for flying insects, the rate is 0.5 fl. oz. per gallon of water per 1,500 sq. ft. or 1,000 linear feet for crack and crevice.
  • Step 2: Tekko Trio is best applied in combination with an adulticide. When tank mixing with an adulticide, first add the adulticide into a sprayer with the appropriate amount of water following the adulticide's specific mixing directions and agitate until well mixed. Then, add the correct amount of Tekko Trio and agitate again until you have a properly mixed solution.
  • Step 3: Spray the finished Tekko Trio mixture on the selected treatment site. Indoors should be limited to cracks and crevices, under appliances, voids (via foam injection) and on general surfaces. Repeat treatment every 6 months or as needed but not more than every 21 days. For bed bugs, retreat every 14 days.

For best results, tank mix Tekko Trio with your selected adulticide to stop the entire life cycle: egg, larvae, nymph and adults."
Product DrawbacksDoes not kill insects on its own, it is only a means of preventing reproductive development of insect larvae and eggs. Mix with an Adulticide like Reclaim IT if you want to control insect adults.

Tekko Trio helped wipe out roach infestations
So thrilled with Tekko Trio. I have been using it to treat for cockroaches for my clients that are having roach problems and I mixed Tekko with an adulticide and received a call from them saying I don't need to return and the bugs are all dead. This stuff works good and I'll going to be having it in stock on the regular.
