About Dow AgroSciences

Dow Agrosciences started in the 1950s as the agricultural segment of The Dow Chemical Company, which itself began in 1897. They were tasked with researching and developing innovative solutions to help farmers who needed chemicals that could help with weed control and crop protection.

Over the last 70 years, Dow Agrosciences continued to produce pesticide products in high demand from land managers. In 2019, Dow Agrosciences changed its brand name to Corteva Agriscience and parted ways with Dow, becoming a standalone company.
