Rally 40WSP
Rally 40WSP
Rally 40WSP, manufactured by DOW/CORTEVA, is a fungicide that comes in water-soluble powder form and is designed to control a broad spectrum of diseases on many different fruit and vegetable crops, such as vineyards, tomatoes, lettuce, berries and more. Diseases on residential lawns and non-residential landscapes. This product is especially useful to farmers and those in the agricultural industries, but can also be useful for homeowners that are growing a vegetable garden.
This fungicide comes in convenient water-soluble packets, making it easy to mix and apply without the use of much protective equipment.
Tools Needed
To use Rally 40WSP you will need a professional pesticide spraying rig to perform high-volume applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Rally 40 WSP you need by measuring the acreage of the area you will be treating. To do this, measure (in feet_ the area length times the width and then divide by 43,560 (length x width = Square Footage/43,560 = acreage). Depending on the crop or plant you are treating and the disease, you will need to mix anywhere from 1 to 8 oz. of Rally 40 WSP per 100 gallons of water.
- Step 2: In a spray tank add half the amount of water and then the appropriate amount of Rally water-soluble packets based on your selected rate and calculations. Agitate the tank and fill with the remaining half of water and mix well.
- Step 3: Apply the product as a spot treatment upon the first sign of the disease or you could spray the Rally 40WSP solution preventatively. We recommend setting the sprayer to a fan spray to get a nice even coating on the diseased crop.
- Step 4: Reapply as need every 7 to 10 days until the disease is gone. It may take up to two months of repeat applications to successfully remove the disease, depending on the disease type.

Rally 40WSP can be used on fruit and vegetable crops either in agricultural settings or on home or commercial gardens. Check the label for the complete list.
When to Use

Q:What is the limit of ambient temp. , can we spray if it is currently under 90 degrees outside?8/10/22A:Unfortunately, there are no specific degrees to determine application times other than foliage growth stages and other date restrictions. It would be best to reach out to the manufacturer, DOW/CORTEVA, for this specific information. https://www.corteva.us/contact-us.html

Q:can Rally be appiled late july to control powdery mildew? how much in a 15 gal tank? this is for an old Gravenstien apple7/22/21A:Yes, it can, but you should start earlier to really get control of powdery mildew. Begin by including some liquified sulfur products in your dormant spray applied in the spring just before blossom. Then keep up with fungicides on the interval suggested on the label. Remember not to use just one fungicide lest the mildew become immune to the fungicide. So develop a program of alternating between on fungicide to another. Rally 40W is a great component of that.

Q:Does it work on black rot ?7/19/18A:Yes we have had excellent results so far this season. But we have to be vigilant because our black rot is deeply ingrained. We also have to alternate it with other fungicides but Rally is the better chemical.
