"While some of our clamps and tubing are branded by MistAway, they can also be compatible with other brands like the Coastal Mister model of Mosquito Misting System. The tubing and clamps are essentially universal to whatever system you have as long as you have the right size for your operation."

Mosquito Misting System Tubing And Clamps

Tubing and tube clamps are an important part of a misting system because it is through the tubing that the misting solution travels from the housing container and out into the air to eliminate mosquitoes. With the help of the tubing clamps, leaks are prevented to make sure that the misting chemicals are safely transferred and moved throughout the machine and out of the nozzles.

When tubes and clamps suffer through wear and tear, this can halt the effectiveness of your Mosquito Misting System. Replacing the tubing and clamps would be necessary to keep your misting system working like normal.

Recommendation

Misting Clamp, Tube, and Nozzle

For the mosquito misting systems we have in stock, we offer a 30 Nozzle Kit which consists of 30 slimline nozzles (20 straight nozzles and 10 45-degree nozzles), 10 quarter-inch union elbows, 40 quarter-inch union tees, 10 quarter-inch union couplings, a bag of 100 black quarter-inch Dynaclamps, a bag of 100 3/8th inch Nylon clamps, as well as 500 feet of black tubing. You could also get these products separately if you do not need the whole set.

By setting up a diagram of your home, we can help you lay out where the nozzles can go so your home gets adequate and complete coverage of mosquito misting concentrate. With the help of tubes and clamps, your misting nozzles will stay in place and will not leak out, making sure you get a fine precise mist into the air to ward off those pesky mosquitoes.

While we recommend standard black nylon tubing, you can get tubing in other colors such as tan, cocoa or white. To install tubing properly you will also need nylon clamps (which we also have different color varieties of) and a tube cutter.

As always, if you need assistance in finding a part or are not sure what you need, our experienced experts will be happy to assist you in person at our stores, on the phone, via email or live chat.

Installation Guide

Tubing

Installing tubing and clamps as part of your misting line is easy. All you would really need to set up a misting nozzle is your tubing, a tubing cutter and the nozzles themselves.

Step 1: Cut the Tubing To Size

With the help of a tubing cutter, cut the tubing to the appropriate size. Typically, for best results, we recommend setting up nozzles 10 feet apart from one another.

Step 2: Connect the Tubing To The Nozzle

Once the tubing is cut, you’re going to get your nozzle and simply line the tubing in the nozzle opening and push it in.

Step 3: Secure With Nylon Clamps

The next step would be to use the nylon clamps to secure the nozzle and tubing in place. After that, you can drill a hole on the surface where the misting line will be placed and secure it with a screw.

Inspection and Maintenance

It is recommended that you thoroughly inspect your mosquito misting system tubing annually to ensure that the parts are in working order and there are no leaks or loose areas. The best time to inspect your unit is when the unit is empty or before a refill of mosquito concentrate is needed.

To inspect the misting line for leaks, run water (with no pesticide) through the system and observe the circuit carefully while the unit is in operation. If any leaks or sudden drops in pressure are spotted, determine if the tubing section is damaged or if the leak is due to a loose connection. If you find an issue, replace the tubing or nozzle to repair the circuit.

Key takeaways

  • Tubing and clamps on Mosquito Misting Systems wear and tear over time and need to be replaced to keep your misting system at peak performance.
  • Keeping the unit clean and clear of debris is very important in preserving the durability of your mist tubing. Inspect the entire system at least once per year and replace any worn tubing or clamps.
  • If you’re unsure of what type of tubing or clamps you need for your specific misting system or if you’re encountering any maintenance issues that you can’t find the answer to in our guides, please contact us at for help.
