Shatter Termite Bait is manufactured by DOW/CORTEVA and is a termite bait specifically designed to be used with the Hex-Pro Termite Monitoring Station but can also be used in Advance Termite Bait Stations as well. This termite bait contains an Insect Growth Regulator that disrupts the molting process of developing termites so they are unable to grow. This bait has a low toxicity and is a great alternative to termite control where you can to drill into floors or create a trench.

To use Shatter Termite Bait, you will need the Advance Termite Station or HexPro Bait Station, a digging tool to make a hole to place
How to Use
- Step 1: Install the station of your choice into the ground every 8 to 10 feet apartment around the perimeter of a structure and 2 to 4 feet away from the foundation. To do this, you will need to dig a hole at least 6 to 7 inches deep. The top of the station should be flush with the ground.
- Step 2: Insert Shatter Termite Bait Cartridges into the bait station when you are sure there is an infestation. This can be indicated by first establishing that feeding is occurring by placing wood cartridges in the station. If the wood cartridges have been damaged by the termites, you have activity and can replace the wood with the Shatter Bait.
- Step 3: Check the bait cartridge every 30 to 90 days and continue replacing the bait cartridge with fresh Shatter Termite Bait until termite activity is no longer evident.
Where to Use
Shatter Termite Bait can be used around commercial or residential structures such as building, fences, utility poles, landscape plantings, around trees or anywhere that termite activity has been observed. Make sure the placement of the bait in the bait stations is not under the drip line from the root of the structure.
When to Use
Use Shatter Termite Bait when you have confirmed that there is termite activity around a structure.

Shatter Termite Bait is safe to use when used according to the product label. Keep termite bait cartridges away from children and pets.
Special Considerations
DO NOT reuse Shatter termite bait cartridges because the termites who feed on the bait secrete a colony specific pheromone which may deter other termites from feeding on the used station.
