MistAway Slimline 45 Degree Nozzle
MistAway Slimline 45 Degree Nozzle
The 45 Degree Nozzle for mosquito misting systems is designed to connect multiple tubing lines to spray mosquito control products around various outdoor areas. This is a stainless steel nozzle to ensure durability and high performance in multiple weather conditions with a spray diameter of approximately 45 degrees.
The 45 Degree Nozzle can be installed anywhere along the tubing line to prevent interrupting the tubing run. The 45 Degree Nozzle is great for providing coverage under eaves of roofs or along fences.
For a high quality mosquito misting system, use 45 Degree Nozzles to ensure consistent mosquito control.
Tools Needed
For best results when installing 45 Degree Nozzles a tubing cutter, screw gun, clamps, and screws (the type of screw needed depends on where the tubing line is run) are needed.
How to Use
- Step 1: Measure the length of tubing needed and locate the area the tee nozzle will be placed. It is suggested to place a nozzle approximately every 10 to 20 feet.
- Step 2: Use the tubing cutter to cut the tubing in the exact area where the tee nozzle will be fitted.
- Step 3: Put a clamp around the tubing close to the nozzle and screw it to the surface area to secure the nozzle in place.
- Step 4: Make sure there are no leaks between connecting the tee to the tubing and adjust the nozzle to spray in the desired direction.
Where to Use
The 45 Degree Nozzle is very versatile and can be fitted anywhere along the tubing line in between the beginning of the line and the end of the line. For best results, place nozzles every 10 to 20 feet around the entire perimeter of the building, house or yard. 45 Degree Nozzles are great for under the eaves of roofs, along fences, around patios, porches, covered walkways, detached garages and more.
It can be applied to any outdoor system with correct size tubing around residential areas, business and recreational locations. The 45 Degree Nozzle can also be installed in areas on the ground around gardens, driveways or sidewalks by using risers.
When to Use
The 45 Degree Nozzle is great to use when outdoor areas have multiple angles that need mosquito control.
Safety Information
The 45 Degree Nozzle are safe to use around humans and pets. Be sure to adjust the nozzle so that mosquito control products are not being sprayed directly people or pets.
Special Considerations
Before installing 45 Degree Nozzles, measure out the length of tubing needed first, then find the locations where the nozzles will be most beneficial. Note that this is the Slimline 45 degree nozzle itself; a tee union and plug will be needed for a complete nozzle set.

Q:How do you remove the old “push to connect fitting” in order to replace it? Meaning, do I twist and turn, pull hard or need a tool?9/12/18A:It is easier if you have the tool, but you can remove it with a couple of flat screw drivers, and you push it is in and yank it out. https://www.solutionsstores.com/mistaway-tube-release

Q:What is the push to connect fitting? Is that something extra that I need to buy?5/26/17A:You would need to connect the Slimline Nozzles to any of the connections, union tee's coupler or even the elbows, the push to connect means it has the correct fitting to push and lock it into place. https://www.solutionsstores.com/equipment/mosquito-misting-systems/nozzles-fittings

Q:Why are these considered better than Hago nozzles?5/25/17A:It will all depend on what you will be using them for the Hago can withstand getting hit (using the unit in a deer lease) and not breaking so easily and they work better in the older systems. If you will be setting a system in your home I would suggest the slimline they will be more cost effective for the use.

Q:So these nozzles link to the tubing? I am not sure I understand what other products I would need to add to the 45 degree nozzles?5/24/17A:Yes, you will be needing a tee union to link the tubing and the nozzles together. In the future, you will need to replace the filter and the ball and spring that are found inside the nozzle.

Q:Am I able to clean these and how will I do so?5/24/17A:We suggest using a water vinegar mix up to clean the nozzles. Fill up a bowl with water and vinegar and allow the nozzles to sit and soak to get rid off any build up.

Q:How do I take the filter out of the nozzle?5/24/17A:You will want to unscrew the nozzle tip from the nozzle, and then using 2 pliers unscrew that little tip of the nozzle tip. Inside you will see a small white filter and a small ball and spring.
