Mistaway (M) Gen 1.3/3 Motor 1/2 HP, manufactured by Mistaway, is a replacement part for Gen 1.3 and Gen 3 MistAway misting systems.

Tools Needed:

To replace the motor of your MistAway misting system, you will need a Phillips head screwdriver, a 1/2" wrench, and a 1/4" nut driver.

How to Use:

• Step 1: Remove the top housing and side panels on the misting system unit to expose the motor.
• Step 2: Use a screw driver to remove the screws that secure the motor to the pump, then remove the pump.
• Step 3: Use a wrench to remove the bolts and remove the motor and disconnect the wires leads from the housing.
• Step 4: Connect the wires on the new motor to the correct inputs on the unit housing.

Where to Use:

This motor is intended for use with the generation 1.4 and generation 3 misting systems. This motor may not fit, or operate properly if used with another device that is not specified.

When to Use:

This motor should be used when the motor included in the unit has stopped working properly or becomes damaged.

Safety Information:

Remember to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when cleaning and replacing components of your misting system. There could be leftover chemical residue or buildup in and around the components. Replacing this part requires removing and attaching electrical wires, so an understanding of electrical components and safety is required to replace this part.
