The Mistaway Nozzle Circuit Filter Replacement Element from MistAway is an important replacement part for the Gen 1.3 MistAway Mosquito Misting System. The element should be placed in the circuit filter of your system to prevent nozzles on your misting circuit from clogging.
This circuit filter makes it so your individual nozzles don't need their own filter, making it more convenient and less expensive to maintain your system.
Tools Needed
To install the Mistaway Nozzle Circuit Filter Element all you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver.
How to Use
- Step 1: Before installing the filter, make sure nozzles are misting and there are no kinks or blocks in the nozzle circuit and the pump pressure does not exceed 250 PSI.
- Step 2: Unscrew the housing from the filter head and discard the old filter element.
- Step 3: Ensure o-ring is in good condition and is seated in groove at top of housing. If the o-ring is damaged (and you don’t have a new o-ring), seat as much as you can in the groove before screwing the housing back onto the filter head. Then ensure the filter housing is completely filled with fluid
- Step 4: Position the new filter element in the center of the housing and screw filter housing onto the filter head.
- Step 5: Once that is done, perform a test misting to ensure everything is working properly.

When to Use
Replace the Mistaway Nozzle Circuit Filter Element when you are noticing that your nozzles are becoming clogged and not spraying misting concentrate properly. Plan on replacing the element at least annually, and potentially more often for large nozzle circuits.

Special Considerations
The MistAway Replacement Nozzle Circuit Element are sold in packs of 5. It is recommended to not have any misting concentrate running in the system when changing out MistAway parts so you don't get any of the fluid on you.

Prevents clogged nozzles
For years I'd have to remove nozzles and use an ultrasonic cleaner to keep them working. Once I added the Circuit Filter this happens far less frequently. A great addition to my system and these replacement filters are inexpensive compared to replacing nozzles.
