The Mistaway GEN III LED Light Socket is a replacement indicator light for the Mistaway Gen III automatic Mosquito Misting System. This is an original part and is necessary for letting you know that status of the unit.

The LED light has several statuses that it indicates—No light indicates that the unit is idle; a rapid flash indicates that the unit is about to begin misting or is in the warning or agitation stage of the misting cycle; a solid light indicates that the unit is actively misting and a slow flash indicates that their is an error, a misting has been skipped by the remote transmitter or the cartridge is empty,

When your MistAway LED Light has stopped working, replacing it is important so your MistAway unit can properly communicate its status to you.

Tools Needed

To install the GEN III LED Light Socket, all you will need is a small Phillips screwdriver.

How to Use

• Step 1:Liftt the lid of the MistAway Mosquito Misting Unit and undo the screw that holds the MistAway Gen III light socket in place.
• Step 2: Disconnect the old malfunctioning light socket and replace with the new MistAway Gen III LED Light Socket. Stick the socket through the open hole on top of the enclosure lid.
• Step 3: Reconnect the wiring of the light and then close the lid and power the Unit on to check if the LED light is working properly.

Where to Use

The Mistaway GEN III LED Light Socket is specifically made to be replaced on the Gen III Mosquito Misting System Unit. It is located on top of the enclosure lid.

When to Use

Replace the Mistaway GEN III LED Light Socket when your external LED light display on your MistAway System is not working at all or is not giving the proper indications.

Special Considerations

The Mistaway GEN III LED Light Socket is the indicator light bulb itself and does not include the wiring/cable connection. If you buy this part and it doesn't work, the wiring may be the issue and would need replacement as well. For this you may need to instead purchase the entire MistAway Gen III LED Light assembly which includes the light socket and cabling.
