Turf Nectar AC
Turf Nectar AC is a specially formulated, fast-acting iron supplement and turf nutrient that helps correct iron deficiencies and promotes rapid greening in lawns and ornamentals.
09/07/25
Turf Nectar AC, manufactured by Helena Chemicals, is a professional liquid fertilizer designed to deliver fast-acting nitrogen, calcium, and humic acid to enhance turf and ornamental health, color, and root strength.
The "AC" in Turf Nectar AC stands for active carbon, and that’s where the magic really happens. While standard N-P-K fertilizers just feed the plant, Turf Nectar AC also feeds the soil microbes. The little workhorses underground that breaks down organic matter, free up the nutrients, and build stronger root zones. Carbon is often the missing piece in plant health. Turf Nectar AC includes soluble carbon sources that support microbial activity, improve CEC (cation exchange capacity), and make your soil feel alive again. This means nutrients actually get used not just washed away.
Turf Nectar AC isn’t your average turf supplement, but a premium foliar fertilizer and iron supplement that helps turf and ornamentals grow stronger, faster, and more consistently without the surge-and-crash of traditional fertilizers. With low usage rates and easy application, it delivers vibrant green results without sacrificing plant density or usage.
Tools Needed
A handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or hose-end sprayer can be used.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Turf Nectar AC to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For warm-seasoned turf or cool-seasoned turf, apply 2 to 8 oz. of Turf Nectar AC per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Bermuda grass will need 4 to 10 oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For ornamentals, use 2 fl. oz. (4 tablespoons) of product per 1 gallon of water or 1.5 gallons of product per 100 gallons of water. To treat herbaceous plants, use 2 teaspoons of product per 1 gallon of water or 1 quart of product per 100 gallons of water. For trees, apply 1.25 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water or 1 gallon of product per 100 gallons of water.
- Step 2: Begin by filling the spray tank with half the amount of water then adding the proper amount of product. Add any fertilizers, pesticides, or adjuvants (after a jar test). Fill up with the remaining half of the water, and agitate thoroughly.
- Step 3: Apply this product as a foliar spray to thoroughly cover the foliage or the surrounding soil near the plant. Three to five applications per growing season usually produce the best result in turf.
