Nanotek Surfactant

Nanotek Surfactant, manufactured by Solutions, is a powerful non-ionic surfactant formulated with Siloxane Polyalkyleneoxide Copolymer and Polyalkyleneoxide for increasing penetration, coverage, and overall effectiveness of pesticides and fertilizers.

This no-foam wetting agent dramatically reduces the pesticide or fertilizer surface tension below 21.5 mN/m, providing superior results and unsurpassed spread on the target, saving time and money.

Nanotek Surfactant helps your pesticides and fertilizers penetrate troublesome sites by increasing the wetting and spreading ability of spray solutions, allowing for better control in fewer applications.

Tools Needed

To use Nanotek Surfactant, you will need to mix the product with a pesticide or fertilizer in a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or spray rig.

How to Use

• Step 1: Refer to the selected pesticide or fertilizer label to determine how much Nanotek Surfactant to use. Rates can vary due to treatment, location, and targeted pests. For spot applications, use 1 oz. of Nanotek Surfactant per gallon of spray solution. For broadcast applications, apply 8 oz. of this product per 100 gallons of spray solution.
• Step 2: Mix your pesticide or fertilizer according to its label directions. Fill your sprayer about 90% full, then add the proper amount of Nanotek Surfactant. Agitate the solution, then fill your sprayer to make 100% of your completed solution.
• Step 3: After mixing your selected pesticide or fertilizer with Nanotek Surfactant, apply the mixed product according to the product label instructions. Follow the selected pesticide or fertilizer label instructions to determine where and how often to retreat applications.

Where to Use

Use Nanotek Surfactant with pesticides or fertilizers intended for dry land applications.

Depending on the pesticide or fertilizer, solutions can be applied to plants and turf to coat foliage thoroughly, or they can be applied to manmade structures.

When to Use

Apply Nanotek Surfactant when you want to increase the rate of control of your selected pesticide or fertilizer.

This product uses chemicals more efficiently and produces much less waste. With more surface area treated, your pesticide or fertilizer will become more effective.

Safety Information

Nanotek Surfactant is safe to use around children or pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing or applying this product.

Keep children and pets away from treated areas until the spray has dried.

Special Considerations

Nanotek Surfactant is an effective wetting agent, but cannot control weeds, insects, or other targeted sites alone; It must be mixed with a control product like fertilizer, herbicide, or a pesticide. It also cannot provide nutrients to plants or turf.
