Solutions Tree Watering Bag
Solutions Tree Watering Bag
Solutions Tree Watering Bag is a slow-release watering bag designed for new or existing trees. This slow-release watering bag delivers 20 gallons of water directly to the tree with no run-off or evaporation.
Solutions Tree Watering Bag, manufactured by Solutions, is a slow release, self-watering bag that securely attaches itself around trees from 1 to 8 inches in trunk diameter with its heavy duty zipper.
This heavy duty tree watering bag can hold up to 20 gallons of water and has an excellent quality seal to ensure the garden hose securely fits. Constructed to slowly deliver water between 8 to 10 hours for continuous and even water distribution without fear of over-watering.
Solutions Tree Watering Bag offers easy installation by simply being wrapped around new or existing trees, then filling with water. As a result, trees are given the exact amount of irrigation required while giving homeowners or business owners more time to perform other tasks.
Tools Needed
Solutions Tree Watering Bag require no additional application tools. You may need a tape measurer or tree scale stick to determine your tree trunks diameter and a garden hose to fill the bag with water.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine the diameter of your tree trunk at diameter breast height (DBH). To do this, begin by measuring 4.5 feet above the ground level. Hold the ruler or tape measurer against the tree then wrap it around the complete middle of the tree at the DBH and record your findings. Place 1 Solutions Tree Watering Bag around trees with a diameter of up to 3 inches. Zip 2 of the Solutions Tree Watering Bags together for trees 4 to 8 inches in diameter.
- Step 2: Wrap the bag around the tree trunk with the tag facing outward and zip the ends together from bottom to top.
- Step 3: Lift the tag, insert a hose into the opening, and begin filling with water. Fill the bag to 1/4 capacity. Drip points may squirt initially, but will slow as bag is filled.
- Step 4: Gently lift the watering bag by the straps at the top of the bag to expand the bottom, then resume filling. Add pre-mixed water-soluble fertilizer, if desired.
- Step 5: Fill the bag to the desired level. The bag will be empty in approximately 8 to 10 hours. Most trees will need to be watered once a week.
Where to Use
Apply on newly planted or established trees that are 1 to 8 inches in trunk diameter and the branches are at least 25 inches from the ground or higher.
When to Use
Use the Solutions Tree Watering Bag when you want to minimize your tree watering schedule and give new or established trees the exact amount of irrigation needed. They can also be used when you want to conserve water as they empty out over 8 to 10 hours.
Safety Information
Watering bags are safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling or applying pesticide materials to be used with this product or when installing the product itself.

Keith's Pro Tips | "The first sign of trees requiring water is visible signs of wilting, which commonly occurs in the top center portion of a tree canopy. If this is not present, then examine the dryness of the soil around the tree about 6 inches deep. If so, then this may indicate watering and a sufficient nutrient boost from a fertilizer may be needed in your Solutions Tree Watering Bags." |
