Tools Needed
To use Talus 70DF you will need a backpack sprayer or for larger jobs, a professional spray rig. Most of the time, Talus 70DF is used in agricultural settings on a large scale to treat crops.
How to Use
- Step 1: Figure out how much Talus 70DF is needed for your application which varies depending on where you are treating and what pest you are trying to control. A typical application of Talus 70 DF is between 6 to 14 oz. per acre (0.38 to 0.88 lbs. of product per acre). Measure the acreage of your target area and what pest you wish to treat to calculate the amount.
- Step 2: Fill your spray tank with 3/4 amount of water needed and turn on agitation. Pour the recommended amount of product into the spray tank, any additional products you wish to mix, and the remaining amount of water and agitate until well mixed and continue to agitate during application.
- Step 3: Spray the product onto your plants making sure to place the tip on a fan spray for even coverage, spraying to the point of runoff.
Where to Use
Talus 70DF IGR can be used to treat greenhouse tomatoes or ornamental plants in greenhouses, shadehouses, nurseries, landscape ornamentals, ground covers, non-bearing fruit and nut trees and vines in nurseries, Christmas trees and field-and-container grown ornamentals.
When to Use
It is recommended to apply Talus 70DF Talus when pest populations are beginning to build to protect your crops from damage.
