Talon Weatherblok XT Rodenticide
Talon Weatherblok XT Rodenticide
Talon Weatherblox XT Rodenticide, manufactured by Syngenta, is a rodenticide bait block that is effective against both rats and mice.
With its active ingredient brodifacoum 0.005%, Talon Weatherblox XT Rodenticide can quickly eliminate rodents (in a single feeding) such as Norway rats, roof rats, and house mice in and around homes, commercial and public buildings, and similar manmade structures.
Once the targeted rodent ingests the Talon Weatherblox XT Rodenticide it will suffer from internal bleeding and die from the product within 4 to 5 days. The formulation of the Talon Weatherblox XT Rodenticide bait are made to withstand damp and moist environments without losing its form and remaining effective for rodent control.
Tools Needed
To use Talon Weatherblox XT Rodenticide you will need to use a bait station for safety reasons.
How to Use
- Step 1:Identify troubled areas (where the mouse or rat droppings have been sighted, small holes and cracks in walls, between small openings behind or close to appliances) to have a good starting point where blocks can be placed around the perimeter or inside your house.
- Step 2: Place Talon Weatherblox XT Rodenticide in bait stations, then place bait stations near areas of rat or mouse activity. Use between 5 to 22 bait blocks placed at intervals of 15 to 30 feet per placement.
- Step 3: Maintain a fresh supply of blocks for 10 days until there is no longer activity of recent feeding by these rodents.
- Step 4: Wearing gloves, collect and dispose of all dead, exposed animals and leftover bait. If reinfestation does occur, repeat treatment. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish as needed.
Where to Use
Labeled safe for use in residential areas, commercials areas, and agricultural facilities, Talon Weatherblox XT Rodenticide is a great choice for treating the perimeter outside and inside your home.
When to Use
Talon Weatherblox XT Rodenticide can be used when you are dealing with rodents that have trespassed in your building and are doing damage. This can happen any time of the year but is especially common in fall and winter periods.
Safety Information
When using Talon Weatherblox XT Rodenticide according to the product label, it is safe to use around humans and pets. To ensure children, pets and innocent wildlife do not come in contact with Talon Weather Blox, use tamper proof bait stations.

Q:The secured bait blocks (9) of them are taken each night. I see no signs of dead rats or mice. I'm in fact seeing more hole burrows around house foundation. Shouldn't I be seeing signs?7/22/20A:Within the home and basement I have not had mice move the blocks more than an inch or two if at all. I could clearly see evidence of gnawing, rounded corners, etc. I don’t typically secure mine, just place them in remote basement areas, crawl space and garage. I have had a few moved in garage, but not too far I couldn’t find it. I suspect you may have a larger animal taking them and stashing them for later.
