How to Use
- Step 1: When rat activity is confirmed take the Solutions Easy Set Rat Trap and fill the bait cup with a suitable bait.
- Step 2: Pull the upright bar back slowly until it is locked in place. Place the Solutions Easy Set Rat Trap up against a wall near rat activity. When used outdoors, the Solutions Easy Set Rat Trap can also be used inside rat bait stations to protect it from weather and keep children and pets from accessing it.
- Step 3: Check the trap periodically and pull back gently on the upright bar to release the rat. Continue to use the traps until rat activity has stopped.
Where to Use

It is not ideal to place traps around indoor areas that are not easily accessible or where pets and children can access it. When used outside, place in a bait station.

Easy and effective
I bought a dozen of these traps to put in my attic to try and keep the roof rats at bay. I keep catching them. They are easy to use and quick to clean. Really should fill in all the nooks and crannies so the rats cant get in.

Effective trap, I used it for a chipmunk problem outdoors. Unfortunately the trap will also trap birds that go after the bait. I would recommend this product.

I highly recommend this trap for rats only. It's way too big for mice. They get in the trap, eat the bait and run away. Occasionally they do fall in the trap, depending on how they position in the trap.

Does not always kill chipmunks
Corners of the trap do not sit flat on the base. You can see it in the picture. If the rodent vertebrae is anywhere near the gap, you will need to figure out what to do with a live chipmunk. I cut off the plastic bump stop for better gap closure. Design needs to raise plastic base to eliminate any gap.

The locking mechanism does not always work and slips very easy, Also these traps need to be primed unlike the Victor jaw tape which are very easy to set and no priming needed , I would not order these again.
