Eratication Rodent Bait, manufactured by Solutions Pest and Lawn, is a ready-to-use rodenticide bait. Made with real peanut butter and seeds, Eratication is 100% guaranteed to attract and kill bothersome mice and rats.

This effective rat poison is shaped into blocks with pre-drilled holes to apply to bait stations easily. Each bait block features ridges along its sides to encourage a rodent's natural tendency to gnaw on textured material.

Eratication Rodent Bait contains diphacinone, an effective but slow-killing poison that prevents bait shyness. It controls Norway rats, roof rats, house mice, and other rodents.

Tools Needed

To use Eratication, gloves and tamper-proof bait stations are needed to handle and apply the bait.

How to Use

Adding Eratication Rodent Bait to Station

  • Step 1: Locate the infested area and then load tamper-proof bait stations with 2 to 8 Eratication bait blocks, depending on the pest that you are targeting.
  • Step 2: Place the bait stations 15 to 20 feet apart where you have noticed rodent activity, such as around holes or burrow entrances. Be sure to place the bait stations along walls, as rats and mice do not travel in open areas.
  • Step 3: Check the bait stations every few days for activity and ensure the bait remains in place with a constant supply for at least 15 days to ensure all pests in the area have had a chance to eat the bait.

Where to Use

Bait Station Placement with Eratication

Eratication Rodent Bait can be used indoors or outdoors. It is ideal for use in and around homes, warehouses, restaurants, office buildings and anywhere rats or mice are problematic. Bait can be placed in attics and outdoors using bait stations where the activity is seen.

When to Use

Eratication Rodent Bait can be used anytime rat activity is noticed, such as Norway rat burrows, feces, chewed wires or damaged sheetrock in and around the building structure.

Safety Information

When used according to the label, Eratication is safe to use around humans and pets. Wear gloves when handling the bait and keep the bait and tamper-proof bait stations away from children and pets.

Dogs and other predatory and scavenging mammals and birds might be poisoned if they feed upon animals that have eaten this bait. While wearing gloves, promptly collect and dispose of all dead rodents and leftover bait.

Special Considerations

When loading Eratication Rodent Bait in bait stations and when placing bait stations, always wear gloves to prevent rodents from smelling human scent, causing them to refuse the bait. Using bait stations will keep rats and mice from carrying the bait away from the infested area and prevent non-target animals and children from ingesting it.

The measurements of a single block of Eratication Rodent Bait are 1 inch long by 1 inch wide, with a height of 1.5 inches.

Wins side by side test.
I bought a competitive product after running out of Eratication quickly and wanted a bigger 18 pound bucket. It was ignored. I bought Eratication again and did a side by side test. The pictures show the Eratication completely consumed and the competition ignored.

Rodents b gone
Well all I can say is so far so good. Had the first batch 8 cubes eaten, and I reset them back and so far a couple have been chewed on, so I think that family is gone. Because no further signs are present at this moment. Great product so far. And yes when it's time I will reorder some more.

Good stuff
This stuff works. We had starting seeing mouses in our back patio at night. I went to our local Solutions Pest & Lawn and bought me two bait stations and a bucket of rodent bait. Within 2 weeks them mouses started eating the rodent. I haven't seen no more mouses since then. I continue to place fresh rodent once a month. Stuff works.

  1. Q:What product do you have to remove cats and raccoons from under a deck and deter squirrels from living in my backyard?
    7/7/24
A:Your best bet is to set out the Solutions Humane Live Animal Trap door near or along areas where these animals frequently travel. Be sure these traps are not placed directly in sunlight, as the trapped animal can die from dehydration or heat stress. You may also use Critter Ridder Animal Repellent on the lawn, garden paths, or flowerbeds near your deck to further deter cats and raccoons from traveling near your deck. To deter squirrels, check out our DIY guide. https://www.solutionsstores.com/critter-ridder https://www.solutionsstores.com/humane-pest-control-for-critters-in-gardens https://www.solutionsstores.com/squirrel-control

    4/13/24
A:Eratication will kill any mammals that ingest it. However, this product is not entirely attractive to squirrels and is labeled only for rat and mice control. To control squirrels, we recommend using the products in our DIY guide. https://www.solutionsstores.com/squirrel-control

  5. Q:Will the mice leave the house to find water. Or do I have to look for the dead ones to dispose of them?
    1/7/24
A:Eratication Rodent Bait takes 5 to 7 days to kill rats and mice after they eat it. This bait is a slow acting poison that prevents bait shyness. You may end up searching for deceased mice, but most of the time they can be found in the bait stations.

  7. Q:When they die, they wind up somewhere and we can never find them so we have to put up with the smell? What can we do about that? We are infested. We hear them in our walls and want to purchase your products but I can see that you are not answering anyone’s else’s questions about the corpse. This is one reason I may not purchase. I use just one bite but they seem to be avoid that now. I cannot stand it much longer.

A:I have used this product for a few years. 1) make sure to glide all vents, holes going to your attic 2))place many of the green pieces in the yard. I have 16 boxes to place the green rectangles. The most important thing is to add more poison every two months. We had a large problem with rats in the attic. I also put poison in the attic until I found where they were entering. I live in central Florida and rats are a big problem. I don’t smell the product anymore and I don’t have to put any in the attic. Rats can get completely flat. You need to find out where are they entering. I have used this product for a long time and I am happy. Rats bring snakes and. ..and rats carryMany infections and diseases. I am happy with the product and it is worth every penny

  8. Q:When mice die does it leave bad odor still?
    4/2/23
A:In my experience, the mice did not die in the house. Most of them scattered and just left. I believe that once they eat the poison they need water and they go looking for it elsewhere. This stuff works but you still need the glue traps, just in case they continually walk around. Also, you need to do this continually and keep putting out fresh bait, for at least 3 months.
