Eratication Rodent Bait
Eratication Rodent Bait
Eratication Rodent Bait, manufactured by Solutions Pest and Lawn, is a ready-to-use synthetic rodenticide bait. Made with real peanut butter and seeds, Eratication is 100% guaranteed to attract and kill bothersome rodents.
This effective rat poison is shaped into blocks with pre-drilled holes so that it can be easily applied to bait stations. Each bait block features ridges along its sides to encourage a rodent's naturally tendency to gnaw on textured structures.
Eratication Rodent Bait contains diphacinone which is an effective but slow-killing poison that prevents bait shyness. Eratication Rodent Bait controls Norway rats, roof rats and house mice, and other rodents.
Tools Needed
To use Eratication, gloves and tamper-proof bait stations are needed to handle and apply the bait.
How to Use
- Step 1: Locate the infested area and then load tamper-proof bait stations with 2 to 8 Eratication bait blocks, depending on the pest that you are targeting.
- Step 2: Place the bait stations 15 to 20 feet apart where you have noticed rodent activity, such as around holes or burrow entrances. Be sure to place the bait stations along walls as rats and mice do not travel in open areas.
- Step 3: Check on the bait stations every few days to check for activity and be sure the bait remains in place with a constant supply of bait for at least 15 days to ensure all pests in the area have had a chance to eat the bait.
Where to Use
Eratication Rodent Bait can be used indoors or outdoors. Eratication Rodent Bait is ideal for use in and around homes, warehouses, restaurants, office buildings and anywhere rats or mice are problematic. Bait can be placed in attics and outdoors using bait stations where the activity is seen.
When to Use
Eratication Rodent Bait can be used anytime rat activity is noticed, such as Norway rat burrows, feces, chewed wires or damaged sheetrock in and around the building structure.
Safety Information
When used according to the label, Eratication is safe to use around humans and pets. Wear gloves when handling the bait and keep the bait and tamper-proof bait stations away from children and pets.
Dogs and other predatory and scavenging mammals and birds might be poisoned if they feed upon animals that have eaten this bait. While wearing gloves, promptly collect and dispose of all dead rodents and leftover bait.
Special Considerations
When loading Eratication Rodent Bait in bait stations and when placing bait stations, always wear gloves to prevent rodents from smelling human scent, causing them to refuse the bait. Using bait stations will keep rats and mice from carrying the bait away from the infested area and will prevent non-target animals and children from ingesting it.
The measurements of a single block of Eratication Rodent Bait are Length (1 inch) X Width (1 inch) X Height (1.5 inches).

Q:Ok just to give you an idea of what I’m dealing with. I know I have mice and rats. I’ve used glue traps (not yours)and only got mice. The I assume rats just pulled them off and kept going. They have bitten into every plastic bottle I had stored in my garage, eaten a box of another brand of poison and chewed thru a thick plastic tub with MRE in it. They practically shot me the bird. The house is occupied full time, and at 73 I can crawl too far into my attic, but I can get to several accesses. I can hear them in the ceilings and walls. I don’t find any evidence of them being in the living quarters. But I use peppermint oil at all the doors and hvac vents. Do you think there is anyway I can take care of this myself? I’m on a fixed income and can’t afford professionals. But your products certainly sounds promising. What is your advice?11/28/22A:Solutions Pest and Lawn products can certainly take care of the rat and mice infestation, but you will need to determine areas where they are most active and understand that a large infestation can take time to fully control. We recommend following along with the products in our DIY guide and using a First Generation Anticoagulant Rodenticides (FGAR) such as Eratication Rodent Bait, which require rats and mice to consume the bait over multiple feedings. They are used to help prevent rat and mice from becoming shy to the product allowing a majority of the infestation to eat the bait then perish. Q:Will this negatively affect dogs if they consume a dead mouse?8/29/22A:I am not a biologist or chemist but there would be residual poison in the dead animal that would likely affect another animal that eats it. I only poison an area where I am comfortable my dogs don't go and only use it as a last resort when other less dangerous solutions don't work.

Q:Do it kill rats from the inside, no odor?7/9/22A:Eratication Rodent Bait can be used indoors within labeled structures to eliminate rats, but it has to be placed within a tamper-proof bait station such as the Solutions Rat & Mouse Bait Station. This bait contains no strong chemical odors, but it does have a peanut butter scent to allure rodents to gnaw on Eratication Rodent Bait for effective elimination. https://www.solutionsstores.com/solutions-rodent-bait-station

Q:I recently bought an Eratication Bait Box and bucket of bait to try to rid my yard of rats that recently decided to move into a rock wall. The product it easy to use, but after a couple of days of refilling the box daily, I found that the rods that hold the bait had been broken off and disappeared. In further examination, I saw that the base that holds the rods in place had been broken, as if the bait had been pulled on until the plastic snapped/broke. I have continued to use the bait station, and have ordered more bait, but I think that the strength of the rod holders needs to be looked into. Can this be improved? April 20, 2022 Elise A.4/20/22A:didn’t use the box, only the bait. The bait works well.
