Secure Action Fungicide provides excellent contact and systemic modes of action for season-long golf course turf protection for complete protection from the inside and out.
Tools Needed
To apply Secure Action Fungicide, you will need to use a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Secure Action Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Apply 0.5 fl. oz. of Secure Action Fungicide in 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. of golf course tees, greens, fairways, and roughs. For acreage applications on fairways, use 21.5 fl. oz. of product in 40 gallons of water per acre. For acreage applications on tees and greens, apply 21.5 fl. oz. of product in 90 gallons of water per acre. Do not apply more than 258 fl. oz. of product per acre per year (which totals to 12 applications per year at 21.5 fl. oz. of product per acre per application).
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Secure Action Fungicide, then pour in the remaining amount of water. Begin application of the solution after Secure Action Fungicide has completely dispersed into the mix water. Maintain agitation until all of the mixture has been applied. Do not allow spray mixture to stand overnight or for prolonged periods in the spray tank.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of turf leaves until wet with the mixed Secure Action Fungicide, but not to the point of runoff. For control of foliar diseases, allow sprayed area to completely dry before irrigation. Depending on the disease you wish to prevent, reapply this product every 14 or 21 days.
Where to Use
Secure Action Fungicide can be used for golf course turf (golf course tees, greens, fairways, and roughs).
Do not apply this product to home lawns (turf) or any other residential turf.

Do not apply on top of the snow.
