Tools Needed

Sante Fe Digital Hygrometer & Sensor will require (2) AA batteries for the wireless sensor. This product will come with an integrated hanger for easy mounting.

How to Use

• Step 1: First thing to do is to set-up the sensor remote by placing the 2 AA batteries inside the back of the sensor. You can do this by sliding off the battery compartment cover and placing the batteries in the correct order as shown inside then replacing the battery cover.
• Step 2: To place the batteries inside the Sante Fe Digital Hygrometer & Sensor remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the item and place the 3 AA batteries to match the placement order. Replace the battery compartment cover once batteries have been instilled. Plug in the power adapter to a wall adapter as this will be the main power source for this product and will only rely on the batteries when no power source is connected to it.
• Step 3: Set the time, date, and unit by pressing and releasing the setting button on the front of the Sante Fe Digital Hygrometer & Sensor to see the SET MODE. Once in set mode, the preference (hour, year, temperature unit, barometric pressure, etc.) you are currently trying to set will blink on the display screen. To adjust the currently selected (flashing) item, press and release the up arrow or down arrow button by press and hold to adjust fast. To save your adjustments, press and release the setting button again to adjust the next preference. You will automatically be kicked out if no buttons have been pressed after 10 seconds.
• Step 4: Clean the surface of the area that Sante Fe Digital Hygrometer & Sensor is to be attached too from dirt and dust. If not desired for mount placement then this product may stand upright for tabletop use. For product installation outdoors, place the Sante Fe Digital Hygrometer & Sensor in an area that is protected from direct weather elements. Hang the sensor with the integrated hang holes or hanger, or by using a string (not included) to hang it from a branch that is 4 to 8 feet off the ground with plenty of shade and fresh air for circulation.

Where to Use

Sante Fe Digital Hygrometer & Sensor may be used inside and outside residential homes, commercial buildings, crawlspaces, basement, and attic. Place the remote sensor outside of your home or building in areas that is protected from weather elements such as sunlight, heat sources, or vents and has shade. When placing the sensor outside it must be within 330 ft. of the Sante Fe Digital Hygrometer and to prevent wireless interference then place both of these products at least 3 ft. away from electronic devices such as TV, computer, microwave, radio, etc.

Keep away from dirt, dust, and moisture.

When to Use

Use Sante Fe Digital Hygrometer & Sensor when trying to predict weather conditions that would create moisture issues or flooding. Ideally, seasons that would have a high chance of humidity and moisture would be spring, summer, and sometimes early fall.

Clean the product with a soft, damp cloth and do not use caustic cleaners or abrasives as this may damage the product. Clean ventilation ports regularly with a gentle puff of air.

Special Consideration

Sante Fe Digital Hygrometer & Sensor is not a control for dehumidifiers.

This product will not eliminate pests, but will help to avoid moisture complications such as mold, fungi, or water dependent pests such as termites or cockroaches.
