The Santa Fe Oasis105 Dehumidifier, manufactured by Santa Fe, is an American made dehumidifier designed for clearing up humidity problems in large areas like basements and crawl spaces.

This powerful dual exhaust system is able to remove up to 105 pints of moisture per day (7.6 pints per kilowatt-hour) and covers up to 2,600 square feet. Once inside this product quietly remove moisture and excess humidity within homes or buildings within several minutes.

Sante Fe Oasis105 Dehumidifier is an ideal and use to use tool for clearing air filtration and decrease of moisture in desired places to deter the presence of mold, mildew, and moisture-loving insect growth. To increase its efficiency during multiple conditions this product automatically restarts after a power outage.

Tools Needed

There are no tools needed to operate the Sante Fe Oasis105 Dehumidifier as it is ready to start working right out of the box.

Items included in this box: Santa Fe Oasis105 Dehumidifier, Santa Fe Oasis105 Dehumidifier Leveling Feet, 8' Drain Hose and Drain Adapter, and MERV-13 Filter (Dimensions: 1" X 12" X 14").

How to Use

  • Step 1: Plug the dehumidifier in an upright position with the intake or exhaust of the unit within 14" of a wall or other obstruction in approved indoor areas where there is access to a Ground Fault Interrupter protected outlet. Ensure there is no standing water sources before placing this product and that children do not have access to this equipment.
  • Step 2: To install the levelling feet, lay down a protective pad (pillow, blanket, etc.). Carefully turn unit onto side. Install leveling feet and adjust to the desired position to ensure unit is level for proper drainage. Carefully bring unit to upright position. Wait a minimum of 10 minutes before operating.
  • Step 2: Use the onboard control to set the dehumidifier to your desired humidity level, which is preset at 55% RH. To change the RH% settings press the up and down arrows to adjust target RH%.
  • Step 3: Set the fan to either low, auto, or high. The unit is factory set to AUTO fan speed. This is the most efficient operating speed. Press the FAN button to toggle fan speed from AUTO to LOW, this is the slowest fan speed allowing for the quietest operating mode. Continue to press the FAN button in order to toggle to HIGH, this is a preset fan speed when the unit is ducted to insure no loss in performance for up to 0.4” of static resistance.
  • Step 4: When air enters the dehumidifier, it passes through the Merv 13 air filter (89-90% ASHRAE dust spot). The filters should be checked and replaced every three to six months. Operating the unit with a dirty filter will reduce dehumidifier capacity and efficiency. Remove MERV-13 filter by gently pulling on the top of the filter frame. Angle the bottom of the MERV-13 filter and gently slide the filter into the filter slot. Do not force. If resistance is felt, check alignment for obstructions or debris inside the filter housing. Be sure the arrows on the filter are facing into the dehumidifier.
  • Step 5: To drain, attach the included 8' drain hose and lead it to a nearby drain. If you need to drain upwards or across longer distances, consider adding an external condensate pump.

Where to Use

Use the Santa Fe Oasis105 Dehumidifier within indoor areas like basements, crawlspaces, garages, home theaters, attics, workshops, gun rooms, exercise room, new homes, whole home, or commercial buildings. Install the unit with enough space to access all sides for maintenance and service. The top panel needs to be removed in order to do repairs

The device is designed to be installed indoors in a space that is protected from rain and flooding.

When to Use

The Santa Fe Oasis105 Dehumidifier is designed to operate between 49 °F and 115 °F. If the inlet air temperature is out of this range, the unit will display an error code and not operate.

Keith's Pro Tips"The Santa Fe Oasis105 Dehumidifier has an option to leave the fan on all the time or only when the dehumidifier is on. We recommend leaving it on for cramped spaces to get good air circulation. If you want to save on energy costs, then set it to the auto setting."
Product DrawbacksA dehumidifier can be very noisy. While this may not upset you if the unit is in the basement, it can be disturbing if placed elsewhere.
