Pipron Fungicide
Pipron in a fungicide designed to control powdery mildew on crops grown for commercial use, such as green houses, nurseries, and other similar enclosed structures. This product is gentle on the plants, and not only prevents but also eliminates fungus that causes powdery mildew and damage plants life.
Tools Needed
You can apply Pipron with either a pump sprayer, a hose end , sprayer, a backpack sprayer, or a spray rig for large volume application.
How to Use
- Step 1: Fill your sprayer halfway with water, then add the required amount of product. If you are using a surfactant alongside Pipron add it now. Fill the sprayer with the remaining amount of water and thoroughly agitate your sprayer. Mix rates can vary, but typically you will mix 4 to 8 ounces in 100 gallons of water.
- Step 2: Spray the product over the affected plants. Be sure to use a course spray with plenty of water to carry the product and ensure even coverage.
- Step 3: Reapply as necessary, and follow label instructions on proper application times and how much product to use.
Where to Use
You can apply Pipron over affected plants and foliage in areas like greenhouses, nurseries, and other plant growing structures.
When to Use
Use pipron during the first signs of powdery mildew growth, to eliminate it before it spreads and damages plants, or when the mildew is already established, to eliminate it completely.
Safety Information
Besure to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) anytime you handle the chemical, measure and mix the chemical, and apply the chemical. Make sure to keep all pets and people out of the treatment areas until they have completely dried.
Special Considerations
Some plants may be sensitive to the active ingredient of Pipron, and may be adversely affected or even damaged from application. Refer to the label for a list of plants that may be sensitive or have a reaction to this chemical.
