Fosetyl-AL Fungicide
Fosetyl-AL Fungicide
Fosetyl-Al 80 WDG is manufactured by Control Solutions Inc. and is a fungicide designed to prevent fungal disease on commercial landscapes. Fosetyl-Al 80 comes in the form of water-dispersible granules that can be easily measured and mixed and works systemically to deliver up to 30 days of protection. Use it to treat diseases such as pythium blight, lithium root rot, yellow turf, phytophtora root rot and more.
Tools Needed
To apply Fosetyl-Al 80 WDG, a hose-end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or skid sprayer is needed. For spot treatments, we recommend a handheld pump sprayer or the backpack sprayer. For large areas, we recommend using the hose-end sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Fosetyl-Al 80 WDG is needed by calculating the square footage of the are you want to treat. You can do this by measuring and multiplying the area's length and width in feet (length x width = square footage). Fosetyl-AL should be applied at a rate of 4 to 8 oz. of product per 1,000 sq ft in 1 to 5 gallons of water. For example, if you measured a 2,000 sq. ft. area to treat, you will need to apply 8 to 16 fl. oz. of Fosetyl-AL 80 WDG in 2 to 10 gallons of water to cover that area.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer's tank halfway with water and then add the labeled amount of Fosetyl-AL Fungicide for your targeted disease. Add the rest of the water to your spray tank and shake to mix well.
- Step 3: Apply the mixture to the plants and turfgrass you wish to protect, preferably on a fan spray nozzle setting for uniform coverage. Spray to the point of wet, not runoff. Make applications as needed on 14 to 21 day intervals.
Where to Use
Fosetyl-AL Fungicide can be used on turfgrasses on golf courses, sod farms, commercial turf areas with cool and warm-season grasses, ornamental plants, and it can be injected into trees. This product is not to be used on home or residential sites.
When to Use
Use Fosetyl-AL Fungicide as part of a season-long program to control listed diseases by applying when conditions favor disease. Apply on a 14 to 21 day interval for continued protection throughout the season.

Fosetyl-AL Fungicide is safe to use around pets and children when used according to the product label. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying Fosetyl-AL Fungicide. Keep all people and pets off the treated areas until dry.
