Eagle 0.39G Specialty Turf Fungicide, manufactured by Nitro-Phos, is a broad-spectrum granular turf fungicide that can be used to prevent and cure a wide variety of common lawn diseases of established turfgrass.

This unique granular fungicide contains the active ingredient Myclobutanil 0.39% in granule form. It is great for applicators who want to provide effective disease control without using a liquid fungicide or when weather conditions prevent spraying.

Eagle 0.39G Specialty Turf Fungicide is an effective granular fungicide that systemically protects established lawns for up to 28 days against diseases such as brown patches or leaf spots.

Tools Needed

You will need either a push spreader or a handheld spreader.

How to Use

Spreading Eagle 0.39G Specialty Fungicide Granules

  • Step 1: Determine how much Eagle 0.39G Specialty Turf Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you must measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Applications to non-residential turfgrasses will use between 4 to 8 lbs. of Eagle 0.39G Specialty Turf Fungicide per 1,000 sq. ft. Residential turfgrasses will need 4 lbs. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. Do not apply more than 46 lbs. product per 1000 sq. ft. per year.
  • Step 2: Load the proper amount of product into your chosen spreader. The use rate varies depending on the treated disease, so referring to the product label is best.
  • Step 3: Once your spreader is properly calibrated, push it along the turf, ensuring an even spread. To get complete even coverage, you may need to make two passes around the treated area perpendicularly.
  • Step 4: Reapply as needed every 14 to 28 days, depending on the disease and its severity, or for continued disease control. To avoid pick-up, lightly irrigate treated areas soon after application.

Where to Use

Eagle 0.39G Specialty Turf Fungicide can be used on residential and commercial lawns, ornamental turfgrass, grounds or lawns around business and office complexes, golf courses (fairways, roughs, tees, greens), and sod farms.

When to Use

Use this fungicide upon first seeing a fungus or disease on your plants or as a preventative measure against disease during the growing season.

Safety Information

Eagle 0.39G Specialty Turf Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.

Keep children and pets out of treated areas until 24 hours after application.

Special Considerations

Eagle 0.39G Specialty Fungicide may be applied with all spreader equipment commonly used for making ground applications. Proper adjustments and calibration of application equipment for good coverage are essential for good disease control.
