Formus Blox, manufactured by Bell Labs, contains the anticoagulant brodifacoum packed into a 15 gram block. It meets Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines that mandates a rodenticide to take lethal effect within 24 hours of eating the bait.

This easy to use products preservative formula increases the resistance to mold and mildew from moist conditions and it can withstand heat up to 170 degrees.

Each FORMUS Blox bait has pre-drilled holes for convenient placement in tamper resistant bait stations. It is ideal for use in and around homes, restaurants, and can even be used in sewers when applied according to the product label. FORMUS Blox provides a powerful defense against, rats, mice and meadow voles.

Tools Needed

Tools are not needed when placing FORMUS Blox in bait stations or around areas needing treatment.

How to Use

• Step 1: Locate areas with rat, mouse or meadow vole activity.
• Step 2: Place FORMUS Blox baits in bait stations, then place bait stations near rat or mouse activity. For rats, place 7 to 30 FORMUS Blox baits at intervals of approxiametely 15 to 30 feet in appropriate locations in infested areas. For mice and meadow voles, place 1 FORMUS Blox baits per placement spaced at intervals of 8 to 12 feet in infested areas. Two Bloxs may be needed for high mouse or meadow vole activity. 
• Step 3: Check bait stations daily to clean and replace bait until rat or mouse activity has stopped.
• Step 4: Continue the process for up to 10 days for rat control and up to 15 days for mice and meadow vole until pest activity has stopped.

Where to Use

FORMUS Blox area great for rat and mice protection in homes, restaurants, storage facilities, food processing plants, warehouses and other locations. For the best results use FORMUS Blox in bait stations and place bait stations along walls, near dumpsters, perimeters of homes, or along fence lines. FORMUS Blox must be used within 100 feet of building structures that are susceptible of attracting rats, mice or meadow voles. Do not place FORMUS Blox near or inside ventilation or air conditioning duct openings or near food prepping areas and food prepping equipment. Mice and rats do not usually roam out in the open, so placing bait stations in open fields or out in the yard is not effective.

When to Use

FORMUS Blox can be placed anytime rat, mice or vole activity is suspected.

Safety Information

FORMUS Blox is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying or handling this product.

Apply bait in locations out of reach of children, pets, domestic animals and nontarget wildlife, or in tamper-resistant bait stations. These stations must be resistant to destruction by dogs and by children under six years of age, and must be used in a manner that prevents such children from reaching into bait compartments and obtaining bait.

Special Considerations

For maximum results keep FORMUS Blox out of rain and snow by using tamper proof bait stations. Prevent re-infestations by limiting other food sources and water supply.

Bait stations are mandatory for outdoor, above-ground use. Tamper-resistant bait stations must be used wherever children, pets, non-target mammals, or birds may have access to the bait placement location.
