Final Blox Rodenticide, manufactured by Bell Laboratories Inc., are weatherable rodenticide bait blocks designed to eliminate meadow voles and various types of rats or mice.

Designed with the potent active ingredient Brodifacoum 0.005%, which is also mixed with irresistible food-grade ingredients to further entice labeled pests to consume this bait. It will begins to kill targeted rodents 4 to 5 days after the first initial ingestion of the bait.

Final Blox Rodenticide can be placed around indoor or outdoor areas where rodent activity is found. With the paraffin wax coating, Final Blox Rodenticide will maintain effectiveness in various types of weather. This effective single feed bait is ideal for use around residential areas, manufacturing plants or restaurants where rodents are not welcomed.

Tools Needed

Bait stations are not required for the use of Final Blox Rodenticide, however they are highly recommended, especially for areas where non-targeted animals, pets or children have access to infested areas where bait will be applied.

How to Use

Bait station placement

  • Step 1: Determine the areas where rodent activity has occurred (along walls, gnawed openings, corners, concealed places, etc.). Proceed to remove as much alternative food as possible with a thorough cleanup.
  • Step 2: As soon as rodent activity is found, place Final Blox Rodenticide in and around infested areas. Depending on the severity, use up to 22 blocks per 15 to 30 feet to kill rats and use 1 to 2 blocks every 8 to 12 feet to kill mice and voles. We recommend that if using bait stations, place empty bait stations around infested areas for few days to win over the rodents' trust before baiting with Final Blox.
  • Step 3: Keep fresh Final Blox available in bait stations or in areas where bait is being placed, until rodent activity has stopped.  Remove all old bait and dead rodents from the area as soon as possible.

Where to Use

Final Blox Rodenticide can be used in indoor or outdoor areas where rat, mice or meadow vole activity is evident. They can be placed in between walls where rodents hide, around the perimeter of homes, restaurants, hotels, manufacturing plants, and barnyards. When using bait stations, place the bait stations every 10 to 20 feet apart surrounding the perimeter of the structure or area where rodents are found. For best results place the bait stations up against a wall where the holes entering the stations are closest to the wall.

When to Use

Final Blox Rodenticide can be used any time rat, mice or meadow vole activity is seen. When feces, chew marks or black scuff marks are detected, rats or mice are most likely in the area. The sooner Final Blox Rodenticide bait is used, the more effective it will be to eliminate them.

Safety Information

Final Blox Rodenticide is safe to use around children, pets, and livestock when used according to the label. To ensure maximum safety, use tamper-proof bait stations. This will keep the rodent from carrying the bait away to be found by an innocent animal or child later on. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) with applying Final Blox Rodenticide.

Special Considerations

Final Blox Rodenticide comes with pre-drilled holes for easy installation in bait stations or to hang in sewers with a wire. Follow the labeled instructions for detailed use.

This does the job. A one time kill. A bucket lasts a long time. I just finished a bucket over a year old and the product still worked.

Final review
I always have to deal with rats and mice every year getting into my hunting cabin out in the deep woods. I always keep some Final outside in bait stations and it kills them dead ??

My neighbors should thank me for reducing the rat population
Well what ever is eating likes it. I live in a small city to golf course. I was using a different brand and it was making no difference. I would put out and come back a week later and some was gone. Switch to Final in two weeks I have used 4 lbs or 64 oz. The rats that lived in my generator a dead. My estimated rat death total should be about 200 and game camera showed even possum are attracted to it.

Final Blox
Its hard to get rats to eat it. I tried it side by side with other bait and final blox will always be the last bait to be consumed.

Works Great!
I have been using Final Blox and other brands for over 10 years to control mice and rodents in my seasonal house and garage/workshop. It is a constant battle with the mice. Some years my exterminator would supply me with Final Blox and other years I would buy another brand at a big box store. The difference is noticeable, and the years I use Final I have less mice (or sometimes no mice) when I open up in the spring. I nail about 10 pieces (using the hole in the middle of each piece) to a couple of small boards and put them in the crawl space under the house in the fall and they are all eaten up in the spring. That way the mice don't take the bait outdoors and I can see how much they ate. This year I bought a pail of Final Blox from Solutions, which had the best price and fast free shipping (ordered on a Sunday, received product on Wednesday). So I am well prepared for battle the next couple years!

Not exactly what I was hoping for...the baits take too long to have a quick effect on targeted critters; as per past experiences I would recommend Fastrac instead.

  3. Q:If my dog ate this how soon would she show symptoms?
    11/30/21
A:I am a veterinarian. If your dog potentially ate this rodenticide you should go to the ER immediately to have a coagulation panel tested. Rodenticide toxicity can be fatal and the sooner it’s detected the better chance your dog has at survival.

    11/8/21
A:This product is extremely toxic to mammals and birds. Dogs, cats and other predatory and scavenging mammals and birds might be poisoned if they feed upon animals that have eaten Final Blox Rodenticide.

  5. Q:how many in a 4lb pale?
    10/25/21
A:I can't tell you the specific number but my house is 3 stories and approximately 7700 sq ft, and it is more than enough for what you think you need. It is extremely effective and a black or two in a room is more than enough to do the job. I also placed it in our 2 car garage.
