Final Blox Rodenticide, manufactured by Bell Laboratories Inc., is a weatherable rodenticide bait block designed to eliminate meadow voles and various types of rats or mice.
Designed with the potent active ingredient Brodifacoum 0.005%, this bait is also mixed with irresistible food-grade ingredients to entice labeled pests to consume it. It begins to kill targeted rodents 4 to 5 days after the first initial bait ingestion.
Final Blox Rodenticide can be placed around indoor or outdoor areas where rodent activity is found. The paraffin wax coating ensures that the product will maintain its effectiveness in various types of weather.
This effective single-feed bait is ideal for use around residential areas, manufacturing plants, or restaurants where rodents are not welcomed.
Tools Needed
Bait stations are not required to use Final Blox Rodenticide. However, they are highly recommended, especially for areas where non-targeted animals, pets, or children can access infested areas where the bait will be applied.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine where rodent activity has occurred (along walls, gnawed openings, corners, concealed places, etc.). Proceed to remove as much alternative food as possible with a thorough cleanup.
- Step 2: As soon as rodent activity is found, place Final Blox Rodenticide in and around infested areas. Depending on the severity, use up to 22 blocks every 15 to 30 feet to kill rats and 1 to 2 blocks every 8 to 12 feet to kill mice and voles. We recommend that if bait stations are used, empty bait stations should be placed around infested areas for a few days to win over the rodents' trust before baiting with Final Blox.
- Step 3: Keep fresh Final Blox available in bait stations or areas where bait is placed until rodent activity has stopped. Remove all old bait and dead rodents from the area immediately.
Where to Use
Final Blox Rodenticide can be used in indoor or outdoor areas where rat, mouse, or meadow vole activity is evident. It can be placed between walls where rodents hide and around the perimeter of homes, restaurants, hotels, manufacturing plants, and corrals. When using bait stations, place them every 10 to 20 feet apart, surrounding the perimeter of the structure or area where rodents are found.
For best results, place the bait stations against a wall where the holes entering the stations are closest to the wall.
When to Use
Final Blox Rodenticide can be used any time rat, mouse, or meadow vole activity is seen. When feces, chew marks, or black scuff marks are detected, rats or mice are most likely in the area. The sooner Final Blox Rodenticide bait is used, the more effective it will be in eliminating them.
Safety Information
Final Blox Rodenticide is safe to use around children, pets, and livestock when applied according to the product label instructions. When handling and applying this product, always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
To ensure maximum safety, use tamper-proof bait stations. This will keep the rodent from carrying the bait away to be found by an innocent animal or child later on.
Special Considerations
This rodenticide comes with pre-drilled holes for easy installation in bait stations or to hang in sewers with a wire. Follow the labeled instructions for detailed use. Brodifacoum rat poison is a second-generation anticoagulant that inhibits the enzyme vitamin K.
Each 4lb pale of Final Blox Rodenticide comes with approximately 88 by 20 gram blocks. Each 18 lb pale contains approximately 400 by 20 gram blocks.
They measure 1.75 inches by 1 inch by .75 inches.
