Cy-Kick CS Aerosol by BASF is the easy to apply aerosol version of the popular insecticide concentrate Cy-Kick CS. The active ingredient in Cy-Kick CS Aerosol is Cyfluthrin, a pyrethroid which targets the central nervous system of insects.
The difference between this aerosol and Cy-Kick Aerosol is this has a micro-cap formulation and creates more of a foam when sprayed. Cy-Kick CS Aerosol uses SmartCap technology in its micro-encapsulated formulation to allow it to work on porous surfaces and to boost its residual effect.
We highly recommend this aerosol for killing a large number of different common pests you may encounter indoors.
Tools Needed
Cy-Kick CS Aerosol comes ready to use straight out of the box with no tools needed for its application. It even comes with an applicator tip for crack and crevice spraying.
How to Use
- Step 1: Shake the aerosol can well before use and then attach the applicator tip which comes with the product.
- Step 2:Inject into cracks and crevices or void spaces where you have seen insect activity or where they may be hiding. Place spray tip into cracks, crevices, holes, and other small points of entry. Release approximately 1 second of product. Move injector tip along cracks while treating at a rate of 1-3 feet per second, depending on level of infestation.
- Step 3: In closed voids, treat at the rate of 1-5 seconds per 3 cubic feet. For spot treatments, release product onto the surface. Do not go past 2 sq. ft. for each spot treatment.
Where to Use
Cy-Kick CS Aerosol can be applied in commercial and residential areas as a spot treatment or as a crack and crevice treatment. Spray under appliances, on floor boards, cabinet corners and other nooks and crannies you've seen pests run into.
When to Use
Use Cy-Kick CS Aerosol when you are encountering indoor pests like panty pests, roaches and various other common pests in the home. Cy-Kick CS Aerosol is also one of very few aerosols that can be applied to shrubs and gardens for treatment of mosquitoes.
Safety Information
Keep the product out of reach of children. Wear the necessary PPE when applying the chemical around the home and keep pets and children out of treated rooms for at least an hour to allow the product to dry and dissipate.
Special Considerations
Cy-Kick CS Aerosol is similar to Cy-Kick Aerosol in that it can be used to treat many of the same pests and contains the same amount of Cyfluthrin. But Cy-Kick CS is a micro-encapsulated formualtion, comes in a larger can, and has different labeling. Read the product labels to help you decide which product is best for you.

Best spray for bugs
I like that it has interchangeable spray heads. I have a problem with spring tails and this is the only product that kills them. I am really satisfied with the way this product works. Only downside is the new spray is a little messy because of its white foam compared to the old one I had.
