PT Cy-Kick CS Aerosol, manufactured by BASF, is the easy-to-apply aerosol version of the popular insecticide concentrate Cy-Kick CS.
Cyfluthrin is the active ingredient in Cy-Kick CS Aerosol, a pyrethroid that targets insects' central nervous systems. This aerosol differs from Cy-Kick Aerosol in that it has a micro-cap formulation and creates more foam when sprayed.
PT Cy-Kick CS Aerosol's micro-encapsulated formulation uses SmartCap technology to allow it to work on porous surfaces and boost its residual effect. We highly recommend this aerosol for killing a wide range of common pests you may encounter indoors.
Tools Needed
This product is ready to use immediately, and no tools are needed for its application. It even comes with an applicator tip for crack and crevice spraying.
How to Use
- Step 1: Shake the aerosol can well before use and then attach the applicator tip with the product.
- Step 2: Inject into cracks and crevices or void spaces where you have seen insect activity or where they may be hiding. Place the spray tip into cracks, crevices, holes, and other small points of entry. Release approximately 1 second of product. Move the injector tip along cracks while treating at a rate of 1-3 feet per second, depending on the level of infestation.
- Step 3: Treat at the rate of 1-5 seconds per 3 cubic feet in closed voids. For spot treatments, release the product onto the surface. Do not go past 2 sq. ft. for each spot treatment.
Where to Use
Cy-Kick CS Aerosol can be applied in commercial and residential areas as a spot or crack and crevice treatment. Spray under appliances, floorboards, cabinet corners, and other nooks and crannies you've seen pests run into.
When to Use
Use when you encounter indoor pests like panty pests, roaches, and various other common pests in the home. PT Cy-Kick CS Aerosol is also one of the very few aerosols that can be applied to shrubs and gardens to treat mosquitoes.
Safety Information
PT Cy-Kick CS Aerosol is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.

Special Considerations
PT Cy-Kick CS Aerosol is similar to Cy-Kick Aerosol in that it can be used to treat many of the same pests and contains the same amount of Cyfluthrin. However, this product is a micro-encapsulated formulation, comes in a larger can, and has different labeling. Read the product labels to help you decide which product is best for you.
