Dekko Silverfish Paks, manufactured by Dekko, are effective silverfish bait paks that control indoor silverfish infestations.
Each bait station packet has a corrugated interior, much like cardboard. Dekko Silverfish Paks are designed to mimic the environment silverfish like to inhibit, so they are more tempted to explore the packet.
Inside is a glue impregnated with boric acid that silverfish like to feed on. They share the boric acid amongst their group, eventually dying off, leading to complete elimination.
Dekko Silverfish Packs have a four-month residual, so the packs can continue killing long after they are placed down. This is an excellent "set it and forget it" method of addressing silverfish.
Tools Needed
Dekko Silverfish Paks comes pre-treated and ready to use right out of the package; no other tools are needed.
How to Use
- Step 1: Open the package and put 2 to 3 packs in areas where you have seen silverfish activity. Two to three packs will cover 100 square feet or any enclosed space, such as a pantry.
- Step 2: Wait several days to check on silverfish activity. Reapply as needed. Complete control may take 3 to 4 weeks.
- Step 3: Replace packs quarterly for preventative control.
Where to Use
For best results, place Dekko Silverfish Paks strategically around your home. Silverfish prefer dark, damp places like bathroom cabinets, pantries, dressers, and attics.
When to Use
Use Dekko Silverfish Paks when you have discovered silverfish activity in or around your home. Silverfish can appear any time of the year, especially around the spring and summer months. Silverfish activity can also indicate that you may need to address moisture issues around the home.
Safety Information
Dekko Silverfish Paks are safe for children and pets when applied according to the label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when using this product.

Special Considerations
Dekko Silverfish Packs come in a box with 24 individual baits. Do not crush or open the packets, as the bait is mixed in a glue-like substance and applied to the contours inside the pack.
While Dekko Silverfish Paks are effective, most active infestations cannot be controlled through the use of one product. They also don't have an instant kill.

I have a huge silverfish problem that has suddenly and upsettingly come about. I keep a clean home and have had no problems with bugs for 45

Q:i live in California and see you can no longer ship Dekko Paks to me. What do i use for silverfish?7/14/21A:I had the same problem here in Oregon. This is the only product I use for silverfish because it works so well. Although I don’t have any suggestions for an alternative, I will let you in on my workaround. If you happen to have a friend or family member who lives in a state that doesn’t restrict this product (I have a friend in NV) have it shipped to them , then they can ship it to you. It may seem like a hassle but I can’t live without these so it was worth it to me. Good luck!

Q:I have been using the Dekko Silverfish packs for about 4-months and still see 1-2 silverfish almost everyday in the bath and closet areas where the packs currently exist. Sometimes the silverfish are near the pack - my question is should I kill the silverfish that I see or let them wander? I kill any silverfish I see because I am worried of them laying eggs. Also, why are the Dekko Silverfish packs not working well? I bought two boxes (48 packs) about four months ago and since not sure where the silverfish are coming from put about 30 packs scattered in the attic and the rest in the bath and closet areas. Thanks for your reply - Jane2/28/20A:I also see silverfish showing up even though the packs have been put in places about 3-4 months ago. I start to wonder if the packs work at all.
