Cutless MEC TGR
Cutless MEC TGR
Cutless MEC TGR, manufactured by Sepro Technologies, is a powerful plant growth regulator (or turf growth regulator) that enhances the quality of both warm and cool season turfgrasses.
Formulated with the active ingredient Flurprimidol 16%, which helps to make the turfgrass denser, improves its color, and increases quality.
Cutless MEC TGR also suppresses the growth of Poa Annua and improves water efficiency allowing to use less water, while keeping the quality and performance of your turfgrass intact.
Tools Needed
You will need a boom-type sprayer calibrated to deliver 40 to 200 gallons of water per acre. This product may also be applied with a backpack sprayer.
How To Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Cutless MEC TGR to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acre). Depending on the turfgrass species, you will apply 1 to 4.6 gallons of Cutless MEC TGR per gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Apply product at a rate of 12.3 to 24.6 fl. oz. per 40 to 200 gallons of water per acre. For specific applications rates refer to the product label.
- Step 2: Mix your required amount of chemical inside a boom-type sprayer. Fill halfway with required amount of water, then add measured amount of Cutless MEC TGR, then pour remaining half of water into the spray tank.
- Step 3: Apply the product by following the detailed instructions depending on the plan for application. Some plans require multiple applications. Depending on your application program you may need multiple application at later times. Treated areas should receive 0.25 to 0.5 inches of rain or supplemental irrigation within 24 hours following application and prior to first mowing after treatment.
Where To Use
This product can be applied to green, tees, and fairways of Bentgrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass, Seashore Paspalum, Bermudagrass, and Zoysiagrass.
Not for use on turf being grown for sale or other commercial use as sod, or for commercial seed production, or research purposes.
When To Use
Apply this product at the resumption of active growth in the spring, and also applying in the fall, then stop just before winter dormancy.
Late summer or early fall applications of Cutless MEC TGR are not to be used for growth regulation of zoysiagrass.

Keep away from children.
Special Considerations
Do not apply to Bermudagrass putting greens. If Poa Annua is the turf species desired do not use this product, unless Poa Annua discoloration will be tolerated. Remember to allow 1 hour to pass by without irrigating or rainfall in the areas applied, wait until the spray has dried on the leaves, and then irrigate and water, irrigation of areas treated must occur within 24 hours one hour after application.
