Fahrenheit Herbicide
Fahrenheit Herbicide
Fahrenheit Herbicide is a post-emergent herbicide in water-soluble granule form. It delivers excellent broad-spectrum control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and grasses in commercial and residential areas.
Fahrenheit Herbicide, manufactured by Quali-Pro, is a 38% water-soluble granule herbicide for the control of over 100 broadleaf and grassy weeds in labeled warm-season turf grasses.
This easy-to-use formula provides visible activity in as little as 7 to 10 days. Fahrenheit Herbicide contains two active ingredients: metsulfuron-methyl 5% and Dicamba 33%. This combination is a very effective killer of invading annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and certain grassy weeds.
Fahrenheit Herbicide is a recommendable, economical product that can applied in low doses for complete, affordable weed control.
Tools Needed
You will need to mix the product into a sprayer of your choosing, such as a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or a professional spray rig for large-volume applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Fahrenheit Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet and then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take your square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acre). For spot applications, apply 0.2 fl. oz. of Fahrenheit Herbicide per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 square feet. Larger broadcast applications will vary between 3 to 12 fl. oz. of product per 20-80 gallons of water per acre.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer tank with half the required amount of water and then add the proper amount of Fahrenheit Herbicide. Fill the sprayer the rest of the way with the remaining half of the water. Close the sprayer and shake it until the product is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the target weed, using the fan spray setting to ensure even coverage. Check back after 7 to 10 days and reapply if necessary to achieve complete control.
Where to Use
Use Fahrenheit Herbicide as a foliar spray on warm-season turf on residential and commercial lawns or commercial properties such as sod farms, sports fields, parks, campsites, recreational areas, roadsides, school grounds, cemeteries, and golf courses (except golf course greens and collars).
When to Use
Fahrenheit can be used in the spring, summer, and fall if temperatures are 50 degrees or above.
Safety Information
Fahrenheit Herbicide is safe to use around pets and children when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried.
Special Considerations
One bottle of Fahrenheit can treat one acre. Fahrenheit can deliver results in temperatures as low as 50 degrees to be used throughout the growing season.

Q:On one of your videos on controlling/removing Virginia Buttonweed, it says to use either Top Shot or Fahrenheit on St. Augustine and Centipede grasses. I have St. Augustine Floratam in Texas and the details for Fahrenheit shows incompatible grass types are St. Augustine and Zoysiagrass. Can you clarify if this will harm my St. Augustine Floratam lawn? Thanks4/21/24A:It can be used on st augustine grass but you need to be careful not to mix it to heavy or overapply as then it will damage it. Even if used at low rate some chlorosis (yellowing) will occur but it will bounce back. The incompatibility is more of a precautionary warning when extra care should be taken.
