Briskway Fungicide, manufactured by Syngenta, is a broad spectrum fungicide to be used only on golf course turfgrasses. Briskway is effective during high temperatures to battle summer turf diseases that other fungicides may not be able to in the same weather.
This easy to use product contains the active ingredient difenoconazole which has heat tolerant capabilities mixed with broad spectrum azoxystrobin.
Not only will Briskway Fungicide remove diseases on the grass, but can also help to make the turf healthier with benefits like lear color and retention, enhanced root development and improved shade tolerance. If you're a golf course superintendent or manager, Briskway is worth the investment.
Tools Needed
To apply Briskway Fungicide you will need either a backpack sprayer or a hand-pump sprayer or a spray rig for large courses.
How to Use
- Step 1: In a hand-pump sprayer add water about halfway and then add Briskway. The recommended rate is 0.3 to 0.725 per 1,000 sq feet. Then fill the sprayer the rest of the way with water and agitate until well-mixed.
- Step 2: Depending on the problem you can spot treat the problem areas or do an entire broadcast treatment of Briskway to the turfgrass.
- Step 3: Reapply as need every 14 to 28 days until you no longer see a disease problem. It may take up to two months of diligent treatments to get rid of the disease totally, depending on the disease type.
Where to Use
Briskway Fungicide is meant to be used specifically to treat golf courses. We strongly advise against using it on any other type of turfgrass.
When to Use
Use Briskway Fungicide during the growing season when there are disease affecting your golf course, particularly in the summer time when the turfgrass may be going through heat stress. You can also apply it preventatively during the growing season.
Safety Information
Briskway Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
After treatment, keep pets and children away from the treated area until the product dries.
Special Considerations
Failure to follow directions and precautions on this product label may result in turf injury and/or poor disease control.
