Headway G provides the effectiveness of a spray with the convenience of a granular due to a highly soluble carrier. Even heavy dew can dissolve the carrier, adding to the efficiency of the product. Headway G provides the same long-lasting broad-spectrum control of the liquid Headway formulation on turfgrass diseases including brown patch, dollar spot, anthracnose and take-all patch.

  • The Headway G carrier provides for root uptake and also leaf intake. Because the carrier dissolves so easily and quickly, it does not stick to the leaf, is not picked up with clippings, and does not leave residue on shoes.

How To

Use preventively. Begin applications when conditions are favorable for disease infection, prior to disease symptom development. Under high disease pressure, use higher rates of Headway G and shorter intervals. Alternate with a contact fungicide such as Daconil.

Bermudagrass can be sensitive to Headway G. Do not exceed 3 lb. product/1000 sq. ft. every 30 days on any variety of bermudagrass. In Florida do not apply Headway G to bermudagrass golf course greens when temperatures exceed 90°F.

Once Headway G is applied to affected lawn, how long should I wait to mow?

BEST ANSWER: There are no mowing restrictions after application, we usually suggest for most things to wait 10 to 14 days to mow again, Heritage is absorbed through the root system into the plant.
How long until you should walk bare foot or allow your dogs on the lawn after application? I could not find this stated on the bad or information.

BEST ANSWER: You will want the Headway area to be completely dry before walking bare foot or allowing your pets in the area.
I have a turf type fescue and KBB mix lawn. I am fighting dollar spot. I made my first application of patch pro this week and want to change up and use Headway G for the next app. How many lbs/1000 should I apply this at?

BEST ANSWER: Headway G may be safely applied before or after seeding or at seedling germination and emergence
to ryegrass, bentgrass, bluegrass, and fescue turfgrass types. Optimum application timing is during
seeding. See Application Directions section. 2 to 2.5 lb per 1,000 square feet.
