Headway G Fungicide
Headway G Fungicide is a granular fungicide that controls broad-spectrum disease against dollar spots, brown patches, and other major turf diseases. It is easy to apply and provides excellent preventative control.
10/11/25
Headway G Fungicide, manufactured by Syngenta, is a granular fungicide that, due to its highly soluble carrier, provides the effectiveness of a spray with the convenience of a granular formulation.
Even heavy dew can dissolve the carrier, increasing the product's efficiency. Headway G provides the same long-lasting, broad-spectrum control of the liquid Headway formulation on turfgrass diseases, including brown patches, dollar spots, anthracnose, and take-all patches.
Safe, easy, and convenient to use, Headway G Fungicide is highly recommended for those wanting a simple solution to turf diseases.
Tools Needed
You will need either a push or handheld spreader to broadcast the granules on a lawn.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Headway G granules to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Headway G Granules are applied at a rate of 2.2 to 5 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. For example, if you measure a 3,000 sq. ft. area, you will need 6.6 to 15 lbs. of granules to cover the entire lawn.
- Step 2: Load the product into a spreader of your choosing at the appropriate rate for the disease you are trying to control. The use rate varies depending on the disease being treated. Please see the label for complete use rates.
- Step 3: Once your spreader is correctly calibrated to the recommended setting for the granules (by checking the spreader setting portion of the label), push it along the turf, ensuring an even spread. You may need to do two pass-throughs perpendicular to one another to accomplish this.
- Step 4: Reapply as needed every 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the disease and its severity, or for continued protection and fungus prevention.
Where to Use
Headway G Fungicide can be used on residential and commercial turf, athletic fields, and other listed areas with fungal disease problems.
