The Bird-X USX Ultrason X Bird Deterrent System is an ultrasonic device designed to humanely drive away pest birds, bats, and other small animals from outdoor and semi-enclosed spaces. It uses high-frequency sound waves, usually inaudible to humans, to create an environment that encourages pests to leave.
Suitable for gas stations, parking lots, warehouses, patios, and other commercial or residential sites, the Ultrason X offers a quiet, effective bird control solution without disturbing the surrounding area.
Tools Needed
To install the Ultrason X system, you will need a drill with bits for mounting hardware and screwdriver for attaching brackets.
How to Use
- Step 1: Identify the best locations for the four speakers to evenly cover the area. Each speaker comes with 100 feet of cable for flexible placement.
- Step 2: Mount the control unit centrally, protected from water and harsh weather. Connect the speakers to the control unit with the provided cables.
- Step 3: Set the frequency on the control unit to match the target pest species. Options include low, medium, and high frequencies for different conditions.
- Step 4: Choose the operation mode: continuous, daytime-only, nighttime-only, or randomized intervals to prevent pests from getting used to the sound.
- Step 5: Confirm all connections are secure and the system is working properly. Check regularly to maintain performance.
Where to Use
The Ultrason X is ideal for outdoor and semi-enclosed places like: gas stations, parking lots and garages, warehouses, patios and courtyards, underpasses, balconies, porches, entrances
Its weather-resistant build supports year-round use, effectively keeping pest birds and small animals away.
When to Use
Use the Ultrason X when there is ongoing pest bird activity in outdoor or semi-enclosed areas and you want a humane, chemical free bird control solution.
Regular maintenance and checks help ensure the system stays efficient over time.
Safety Information
The Ultrason X is safe for humans and pets, as the ultrasonic frequencies are usually inaudible to them. To allow optimal sound coverage, keep the area around the speakers free of obstructions.
Special Considerations
When installing, keep in mind speakers should have clear line of sight to pest activity areas since ultrasonic waves don’t pass through solid objects well.
