Ignite SC is only available in Solutions Pest & Lawn locations.

Ignite SC Insecticide, manufactured by Solutions Pest and Lawn, is a versatile solution for controlling many pests in and around residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This is a dual-action, concentrated insecticide containing two active ingredients: bifenthrin and imidacloprid.

Bifenthrin is a synthetic pyrethroid, and imidacloprid is a systemic neonicotinoid that works together to disrupt the nervous system of insects and work as an insect neurotoxin. This combination provides excellent control over various pests, such as ants, fleas, cockroaches, flies, and many more. Due to its systemic activity, Ignite SC is highly effective against vegetation feeders and is commonly used as a preventive and curative treatment for a wide range of pest infestations.

Ignite SC can be applied in various indoor and outdoor settings, such as indoor and outdoor perimeter applications, spot spraying, turfgrass and landscaping, and more.

Tools Needed

To apply Ignite SC, you will need a hose-end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig. For small household jobs, we recommend a handheld 1-gallon pump sprayer or a 4-gallon backpack sprayer.

How To Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Ignite SC to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Do this by measuring the length and width of the treatment area in feet and then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage.) For general control, Ignite SC can be applied at the rate of 0.89 to 1.78 fl. oz. per gallon of water.
  • Step 2: Mix and fill your sprayer halfway with water. Use Ignite SC's convenient tip-and-measure bottle to measure the appropriate amount of product to put in the sprayer. Add the remaining amount of water to your sprayer, then shake well to mix.
  • Step 3: Apply the solution as a broadcast spray or barrier spray around structures, a crack/crevice/baseboard spray indoors, or other approved methods mentioned on the label. For crack-and-crevice spraying, use a pin-stream nozzle setting to get precision spraying. For broadcast spraying, surface spraying, or perimeter treatment, use a fan nozzle spray setting to get uniform coverage.

Where To Use

Ignite SC can be used on turfgrass, trees (including nonbearing fruit and nut trees), shrubs, evergreens, flowers, ground covers, bedding plants, and foliage plants and in, at, and/or around residential buildings, office, commercial, shopping and institutional buildings and complexes, grounds, parks, recreational areas, athletic fields, playgrounds, airports, cemeteries, lawns, and interior plantscapes.

When To Use

Apply Ignite Sc to treat and prevent the listed pests. Apply on calm days when rain is not in the immediate forecast. Do not treat water-saturated or frozen soil.

Safety Information

Ignite SC is safe to use around pets and children when applied according to product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Keep pets and people away from treated areas until dry.

Special Considerations

Shake the bottle well before using. Because Ignite SC is a suspended concentrate, it can settle out once mixed in water. Because of this, we recommend that anything you mix up be used on the same day.

Bug Free Yard
This product has been very successful both around my home and garage where bugs like mosquitoes, ants, leafhoppers were present. Got rid of these bugs in a coulple of days
Takes very little to control an area
Great value and pro strength
As a long-time homeowner this is what I have used during each season against mites, clover mites, grasshoppers you name it! Highly recommend it for anymore having a small or large infestation
Cheap and does the job
Has been very successful
So far, so good. I live next to a house where they do NOT keep up with their yard so roaches are prevalent. I use this to keep things in check. I mix it and spray it from a pump sprayer, both inside and outside the home.
Long residual and works against many insects
Great value
We have been living in this house for years and it's been virtually impossible to enjoy our backyard due to mosquitos!! After applying this product we noticed instant relief of mosquitoes with no harsh chemical odors/smell. It's been days after spraying and we still have not seen them. Keep in mind we also used the BTI Mosquito Dunks with it to to treat bird baths and water puddles in yard for larvae control.
No more backyard mosquitoes!
So far so good
Instructions were easy to understand and I seen plenty of dead silverfish after spraying.
Versatile application methods
Good price good product
I like the price compared to buying local insecticides. I use it on Ants, spiders and roaches. It seems to keep them under control and doesn’t take a lot to mix in sprayer. Read directions and warnings!
Spray on ant hills and around the perimeter of my house. Walked away and came back later to see dead ants. Couple of days later there were dead roaches too.
Strong and effective
Works Great
This stuff works great.. add the proper amount of this product in a pump sprayer and spray everything around doors, windows, soffits!! No more wasps, spiders, and flies around my house.
kills bugs quickly
Easy way to eliminate Bugs on Porch
Easy to mix and use correct proportions for a pump sprayer. Eliminated most of the ants after the first application. However, a second application was need to remove the remainder. This worked when other alternatives only provided limited success.
Cost-effective and long-lasting
