The unit comes with all parts needed to operate. You will need a screwdriver to attach the BirdXpeller PRO mount to a post.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine the optimal placement for the control unit and speakers to ensure maximum coverage of the target area. The system is designed to cover up to 4 acres, so strategic positioning is crucial for effective deterrence.
• Step 2: Install the control unit in a secure location, preferably elevated, to protect it from potential damage and to facilitate optimal sound distribution.
• Step 3: Mount the four speakers at appropriate intervals around the perimeter of the area to be protected. Ensure that each speaker is directed towards potential bird congregation spots to maximize the impact of the distress calls and predator sounds.
• Step 4: Connect the speakers to the control unit using the provided cables, ensuring all connections are secure and weather-resistant to withstand outdoor conditions.
• Step 5: Power the system using your chosen method: plug into an electrical outlet, connect to a fully charged 12V deep-cycle marine battery, or set up a compatible solar panel system to maintain battery charge.
• Step 6: Program the control unit to broadcast the appropriate distress calls and predator sounds for the specific bird species you aim to deter. The system offers customizable settings for sound selection, volume, interval, and operating schedules to tailor the deterrent effect to your needs.
• Step 7: Activate the system and monitor its performance. Adjust settings as necessary to enhance effectiveness, especially during different times of day or varying environmental conditions.

Safety Information

The Super BirdXPeller Pro is designed with safety in mind. Be cautious when turning the volume dial since the unit may in an inactive state when the dial is rotated. It could then reactivate at a very high level of sound which could be painful to your ears. 

Special Considerations

Do not install device during raining or snowing conditions. Having the cover open during wet conditions would expose the inside of the control unit to water. Read the entire instruction guide before installation.
