Altriset Termiticide
Altriset Termiticide
Altriset Termiticide, manufactured by Syngenta, prevents and controls various types of termites.
Within a few hours, the active ingredient, chlorantraniloprole 18.4% causes termites to experience paralysis that prevents them from being able to eat. The lethal effects of Altriset happen slowly so that they have an opportunity to share the termiticide with the colony.
Altriset Termiticide provides long-term control for up to 5 years when applied according to the label and begins killing termites within 7 days.
Tools Needed
The areas where termites are found will determine the type of application equipment needed. To apply Altriset as a spray a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or professional skid sprayer is needed.
To apply Altriset by trenching, a pickaxe, wheelbarrow or bucket is needed. For other applications, rodding equipment and termiticide injection equipment can be used.
How to Use
- Step 1: For general applications made with a 1 gallon finished solution in handheld pump sprayer, begin by filling the spray tank with 1/2 gallon of water.
- Step 2: Add 0.34 to 0.68 ounces of Altriset to the spray tank, depending on the dilution rate needed.
- Step 3: Fill the spray tank with the other 1/2 gallon of water and shake the spray tank until thoroughly mixed.
