The active ingredients pyrethrins 0.55%, permethrin 1.10%, and piperonyl butoxide 5.50% help quickly knock down problem flying insects such as flies and repel them from the treated area.

This concentrate will need to be input into an automatic misting system, or it can be mixed in a handheld sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much 1-10 HP Concentrate for 55 Gallon Spray System you will need by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the treatment areas' length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). If you are using an automatic misting system, you will need to measure the cubic feet of the areas you wish to treat. To find cubic feet, follow the formula (length x width x height). Refer to the label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: If you choose to use an indoor or outdoor space spray with a handheld sprayer, dilute the concentrate at a rate of 6 to 12 fl. oz. per 1 gallon of water. This will cover 1,000 sq ft of area. For example, if you have measured 2,000 sq ft that you wish to treat, you will need between 12 and 24 fl oz of product mixed with two gallons of water. If you choose to use a 55-gallon automatic misting system, apply at a maximum rate of 1.5 ounces of diluted product per 1,000 cubic feet of area.
• Step 3: For handheld sprayers, mix the appropriate amount and agitate, then apply a coarse spray for residual treatment to indoor or outdoor cracks and crevices. On automatic misting systems, direct nozzles are used to spray toward the target area and away from sensitive areas where people, pets, or food are present.

Use 1-10 HP Concentrate as an indoor space spray in horse barns, dog kennels, and zoo animal quarters. Outdoors, focus areas on or around homes, patios, tennis courts, pool areas, beach houses, and lawn areas.

When to Use

Apply when your barn or stable encounters an infestation of flying and biting insects. If the system works on an automatic timer, set the application time when people, pets, and food are not likely to be present.
