ZP Pellet Bait is a pellet formulated rodenticide manufactured by Bell Laboratories. ZP Pellet Bait is primarily used in agricultural settings for controlling many outdoor pests such as prairie dogs, rats, mice, voles, gophers. It can also control ground squirrels in non-crop areas. The active ingredient in this bait is Zinc Phosphide mixed with human food-grade ingredients which makes it a palatable bait that results in a quick kill.
Tools Needed
ZP Pellet Rodent Bait come ready to use but it is recommended to place in tamper-resistant bait stations.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine areas in and around the structure for rodent activity and place pellets in these target areas, preferably inside a bait station.
- Step 2: For mice, 1 teaspoon of pellets should be placed strategically every 8 to 12 feet. For rats, 1 to 2 teaspoons.
- Step 3: Check if the pellets are being eaten and replace with fresh pellet packs. Maintain a steady supply of pellet packs for at least two weeks, until the rodent has stopped feeding.
- Step 4: With gloves on, collect and dispose any dead rodents and bait according to the label directions.
Where to Use
ZP Pellet Rodent Bait can be used in and within 100 feet of any home or building that is vulnerable to rodent invasions. Indoors, place them in darkened areas, behind appliances, along floor boards and walls. Outdoors, place baits along exterior walls, near dumpster and other common areas rodents frequent.
When to Use
Use ZP Pellet Rodent Bait during periods of high rodent activity or when a rodent has trespassed indoors. Prime times around around the winter when temperatures have cooled and rodents are looking for a warm place to stay.
Safety Information
ZP Pellet Rodent Bait is safe to use around pets and children as long as they are placed in tamper-resistant bait stations. Make sure to use gloves and protective equipment when handling this bait.
