Weedmaster Herbicide
Weedmaster Herbicide
Weedmaster Herbicide is an effective selective post-emergence herbicide designed to effectively manage a broad range of annual, biennial, and perennial broadleaf weeds as well as brush in grass forages and specific row crops.
Weedmaster Herbicide, manufactured by Nufarm, has been the go-to choice for farmers and ranchers seeking dependable weed control in a variety of agricultural settings. This selective, post-emergent herbicide is engineered to deliver robust, long-lasting control over a broad spectrum of annual, biennial, and perennial broadleaf weeds.
Powered by the powerful active ingredient Thiophanate-methyl, Weedmaster Herbicide simplifies application, ensuring better penetration into the plant root zone white providing adequate curative.
Weedmaster Herbicide's strength is its capacity for pre-emergence control with residual activity. This means it can thwart weed germination and continue suppressing their growth, maintaining a weed-free environment.
Tools Needed
Weedmaster Herbicide can be applied using various methods, including ground application with handheld, mechanical, or motorized spray equipment, chemigation spraying, and can be used with compatible sprinkler irrigation systems. Additionally, overhead application is an option where it's applicable and suitable.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Weedmaster Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For annual weed application, you will use between 8 to 64 ounces per 5 to 40 gallons of water per acre. For perennial and biennial weeds, apply 16 to 72 ounces of product per 5 to 40 gallons of water. Use the higher spray volume when treating dense or tall vegetation. For small or spot applications, use 1 oz. of product per gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to label for specific application rates as this will vary.
- Step 2: In a large container, add half of the required amount of water and then add the appropriate amount of Weedmaster Herbicide to the large container. Fill the container the rest of the way with the remaining half of water. Mix well and then pour into the sprayer tank.
- Step 3: Apply Weedmaster Herbicide over the treatment area. Plant only labeled crops within 29 days following application. Refer to the label for specific crop planting intervals as this will vary.
Where to Use
Weedmaster Herbicide is for use on conservation reserve program land, fallow systems (between crop applications), general farmstead, sorghum, grass (hay or silage), pastures, rangeland, sugarcane, wheat, corn (preplant and preemergence), soybeans (preplant) and cotton (preplant). Also for control of brush and broadleaf weeds on rights-of-way, forest brush, industrial sites, non-irrigation ditchbanks, fence rows, and other non-crop areas.
When to Use
Weedmaster Herbicide offers optimal results if application can be made when weeds are actively growing but before weeds canopy
