Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer
Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer
Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer, manufactured by Solutions Pest and Lawn, is a effective fertilizer made for lawns and turf that endure hot and humid summer weather.
This slow-release granule works well with St. Augustine or Bermudagrass. Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer also has a secondary micronutrient package mixed in. The micronutrient package promotes vibrant green grass without promoting excessive growth so that the lawn can be enjoyed without having to mow as often.
Solutins Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 is the perfect product to have in your summer lawn care program without the risk of burn.
Tools Needed
To apply Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer, you will need to broadcast the product with a push spreader. Ensure your spreader is properly calibrated. You will also need a weighing scale and bucket to measure how much product you need based on your treatment area.
How to Use
- Step 1: Prepare your lawn by mowing it to its normal height 1 to 2 days before application, and water your lawn thoroughly at least 1 day before application. Mowing your lawn ensures a less dense treatment area, allowing the Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer an easier time reaching the soil. Watering ensures your soil doesn't go dry during treatment, which would negatively impact the effectiveness of this product.
- Step 2: Calculate the amount of Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer you will need to use by calculating the treatment areas square footage. Do this by multiplying the areas length by its width. According to the products label, you will need to apply 5 lbs. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. of treatment area.
- Step 3: When its time to apply, load your spreader with the proper amount of Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer. Make sure the grass is dry before application.
- Step 4: Evenly distribute all of your product throughout your treatment area. With a push spreader, broadcast half your granules in parallel lines once across your area, then broadcast the other half at a perpendicular angle to cover the area in its entirety.
- Step 5: Once you have distributed all your Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer, water the lawn thoroughly to wash any fertilizer granules stuck on grass blades into the soil.
Where to Use
Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer is particularly made for southern lawns or turf where it is hot and humid. It is also great for golf courses and sport fields.
Avoid spreading this product near concrete walkways, driveways, stucco, or asbestos siding as the iron in the fertilizer can stain these areas. If fertilizer is accidentally spread to those places, wash it off immediately.
Keep this product out of swimming pools.
When to Use
The best time to apply Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer is when your grass is actively growing. This will depend on what species of grass your lawn is made of and the region you live in. Generally, the earliest this product should be applied is March, and the latest is the end of August.
Safety Information
Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling or applying this product.
Special Considerations
Before applying any fertilizer, conduct a soil test to determine your lawns current nutrient composition. Too much nitrogen at once will cause turf grass to burn and encourage disease and fungal development, but Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer is a slow-release fertilizer, so you won't have to worry about overfeeding your lawn.
If applying Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer to Bermuda grass lawns, use 1.5 times the labeled rate.
Most active infestations cannot be controlled through the use of one product. To ensure your lawn stays green throughout the growing season, you will also need a pre-emergent herbicide to prevent weeds from emerging, a post-emergent herbicide to remove established weeds, and regular lawn care, maintenance, and cultural practices to keep your lawn green and lush.

The SGN of the Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer granules are 2-4mm.

Q:Is this product suitable for tall fescue....I am in eastern Missouri. I have a newer lawn. This the second season and it has taken very well. I want to give it some resistance against what is typically a hot and dry summer5/25/24A:Solutions Pro Grow is more intended for southern lawns or turf where it is hot and humid. Tall fescue is considered a cool-seasoned turf, so for this reason Solutions 15-5-10 Weed & Feed Fertilizer will work best. https://www.solutionsstores.com/solutions-15-5-10-weed-feed-with-trimec

Q:What % of the nitrogen in Pro Grow Summer Blend is slow release nitrogen? On the tag, which nitrogen is slow release? The water soluble or insoluble nitrogen?5/22/24A:There are multiple nitrogen sources, most of which are slow release. The water soluble source releases quickly to stimulate faster response. Overall this is a slow release analysis that will provide for a longer feed. This product will generally feed for 60-90 days depending on rainfall and temperature conditions.

Q:Is this fertilizer recommended or safe to use on Tall Fescue?11/1/23A:Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer is intended for southern lawns or turf where it is hot and humid. Since tall fescue is a cool-seasoned grass it may be injured. We recommend using Solutions 15-5-10 Weed & Feed Fertilizer with Trimec, which can be used on fescue. https://www.solutionsstores.com/solutions-15-5-10-weed-feed-with-trimec

Q:What is the best product to put on Bermuda grass after Topdressing ?1/12/23A:I use this product on St. Augustine grass so I can't recommend it for Bermuda. I will say it is the best fertilizer I have ever used. And I am 82 years old.

Q:Is pro grow a good product to use on soccer fields after Topdressing? (Bermuda in GA) Thank you1/12/23A:Yes, Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer can be applied at the same time topdressing is applied. However, the Solutions Pro Grow Summer Blend 19-4-10 Fertilizer is not the analysis that I would apply at this time of the year. This is a summer time blend. The Bermuda is not needing the high 'N" Nitrogen content when it is in winter dormancy. A Fall and Winter blend is best right now such as Solutions 8-12-16 Fall Grow Fertilizer or similar is much better. Some kind of low nitrogen blend will be best. https://www.solutionsstores.com/solutions-8-12-16-fall-grow-fertilizer

Q:Will the pro grow be good for using on soccer fields after topdressing? (Bermuda grass)1/12/23A:Sure, but your Bermuda grass has to be green, in an active growing phase. Do not apply if the grass is dormant(brown).

Q:I incorrectly used the weed and feed with Trimec on my floratam lawn. The mower tires left big burn marks all over the lawn. Now, what do I do?3/10/22A:Unfortunately, there is no immediate fix for lawns or plants damaged by fertilizers. However, it is possible to bring your foliage back from fertilizer burns by following our DIY Guide. https://www.solutionsstores.com/how-to-avoid-fertilizer-burns-on-lawns
