Uni-Mix Granular 11-5-11, manufactured by ICL Specialty Fertilizer, is a superb starter fertilizer that helps newly-established ornamentals with an immediate nutrient charge to allow plants to grow more stronger.
This water soluble fertilizer flows freely through soil line bins for excellent distribution and may be combined with limestone or gypsum for acid-loving plants for further usage.
Uni-Mix Granular 11-5-11 is a easy to use granular fertilizer that stabilizes mixes and helps prevent nutrient breakdown in media with high CN ratios such as wood fiber, coir, and poorly composted bark.

To use Uni-Mix Granular 11-5-11, you will need a handheld spreader or hopper.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Uni-Mix Granular 11-5-11 to use by measuring the length, width, and depth of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length, width, and height of the treatment area in feet then multiply these together and divide the total by 27 (length X width X height / 27 = cubic yards). Apply 2 lbs. of Uni-Mix Granular 11-5-11 per cubic yard. For light feeder and salt sensitive crops, use 1 lb. of product per cubic yard.
- Step 2: Load the spreader with the proper amount of Uni-Mix Granular 11-5-11 then calibrate it to the proper ratio.
- Step 3: Spread the Uni-Mix Granular 11-5-11 over the top layer of soil until an even coating is applied.
Where to Use
Uni-Mix Granular 11-5-11 can be incorporated into growing media of potted and bedding plants, perennials, sub-tropicals, and container nursery crops. It may be combined with limestone (or limestone and gypsum for acid-loving plants).
When to Use
Use Uni-Mix Granular 11-5-11 when plants are actively growing or at the time of planting.
