Udor IOTA-20 Pump w/Gear Reduction
Udor IOTA-20 Pump w/Gear Reduction
The Udor IOTA-20 Pump is two-diaphram pump manufactured by Udor USA and designed for use on professional spraying rigs for pest control and lawn care applications. The IOTA-20 is made with anondized aluminum and stainless-steel and comes with a gear reduction for gasoline engines that have 3/4 inch shafts and 3 to 5 HP.
This low-pressure Diaphragm Pump also features a built-in pulsation dampener, control valve and pressure guage. Use it to replace an existing pump on your professional spray rig or to upgrade a pump to make the pressurization while spraying more powerful.
Tools Needed
To use the Udor IOTA-20 Pump you will need a professional pesticide spraying rig to connect the pump to and the socket wrench to make the appropriate connections.
How to Use
- Step 1: Attach the Udor IOTA-20 to your pesticide spraying rig sprayer setup after removing your old pump. Use a socket wrench to secure the nuts and bolts to the inlet, discharge and bypass ports.
- Step 2: Open the suction valve and check the tightness of suction lines, fittings and filter.Fill the pump with the correct level of oil and then start the pump and let it run for approximately one minute at low pressure. Test it out to see if it is pressurizing properly or if adjustments need to be made.
- Step 3: While the pump is operating, adjust the pump to the desired pressure using the control valve and check the pressure guage to ensure it's at the desired level.
Where to Use
The Udor IOTA-20 Pump is a low pressure diaphragm pump that is meant to be installed as part of a professional skid sprayer or spraying rig system. Spraying rig systems using the IOTA-20 pump are great for landscape applications, lawn care and pest control.
When to Use
Use the Udor IOTA-20 Pump to replace a broken or faulty pump on your existing spraying rig or use it as an upgrade over an older pump to improve pressurizing power.
Safety Information
The Udor IOTA-20 Pump is safe to use when applied according to the accompanying directions. Make sure to read the safety information carefully and follow their warnings. Also, be sure to wear proper PPE before spraying (gloves, protective eyewear, safety mask, etc.)
Special Considerations
Each Udor Diaphragm Pump has two valves per cylinder or head assembly. One valve allow fluid into each head assembly or suctions it in and the other valve lets fluid out of each head assembly or discharges. Pay very close attention to valve placement when reinstalling the head assemblies during diaphragm replacements, pump maintenance or when servicing the pump.
