TrizMax Herbicide
This product is a Restricted Use Product (RPU) and requires a Certified Applicator's License to purchase.
TrizMax Herbicide, manufactured by Drexel, is a liquid formulation that unites 3 trusted chemicals for long-lasting control of annual grass and broadleaf weeds in corn and sorghum crops.
This product contains Metolachlor 29.40% which halts the growth of the seedling shoots, Atrazine 11.00% interferes with photosynthesis and also works to combat weeds that are resistant to glyphosate, and Mesotrione 2.94% which also inhibits photosynthesis allowing the sun to destroy the chlorophyll in weeds.
TrizMax Herbicide has a large target window for application 14 Day Pre-plant through 12″ Corn making it a versatile and affordable weed-suppression tool.
Tools Needed
To use TrizMax Herbicide, you will need to mix the product into a sprayer of your choosing such as a backpack sprayer, a handheld pump sprayer, or a professional spray rig for larger volume applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much TrizMax Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure the length and the width of the treatment area in feet and then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take your square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 = acre). For a preemergent treatment in corn crops, you will use 2.5 to 3 quarts of TrizMax Herbicide in 10 to 80 gallons of water per acre. For more rates and restrictions refer to the product label.
- Step 2: Fill your selected sprayer tank with half of the required water and then add the measured amount of TrizMax Herbicide. Fill the sprayer the rest of the way with the remaining half of the water. Close the sprayer and shake it till the product is well mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the treatment area with the TrizMax Herbicide mixture, making sure to get even coverage via a fan spray setting.
Where to Use
