Tri-Die Pressurized Dust

The cracks and crevices that are formed outside and inside homes, office buildings, and properties, are the ideal place for all types of insects and pests to call home.

These hard to reach places often go unnoticed by the average homeowner, but it is through these entrances that most pests find their way inside your home.

It is always imperative to treat these spots with insecticidal dusts, which are ideal for the small openings found inside electrical outlets, behind cabinets, and under appliances.

At Solutions Pest and Lawn, we offer a plethora of products that are ideal for these hard to reach places where some spray applications might be too bulky or big for a correct application that penetrates deep into the cracks and crevices.

Depending on the type of infestation you have, our 100% Guaranteed Kits come packed with the best products available to treat your infestation. All of the products in the kit have been rigorously tested by Licensed Entomologists, and proven to always provide optimal results, which is why all the kits come with a 100% money back guarantee which should attest to their high quality.

From insecticidal dusts to professional hand-held dusters we have some of the most efficient products in the market to choose from.

One of these products, that comes in a ready-to-use pressurized aerosol spray can, that saves you money on having to buy a separate hand-held duster, and comes equipped with the contact kill effects of Pyrethrum and the long-term residual control of Silica dust, is Tri-Die Pressurized Dust.

Created by BASF US, the American Branch of the largest chemical producer in the world, and established 1865, you get more 150 years of chemical knowledge and the superior quality and performance of one of the leaders in the pest control market.

Compromised of two active ingredients, 8% Silica Gel, and .6% Pyrethrin, you get the dual action of the botanical insecticide Pyrethrum with the long residual control of Silica found in most Diatomaceous Earth-based insecticidal dusts.

Both ingredients are naturally derived and should pose no threat to the environment.

The great feature of this product is that it is manufactured with BASF’s innovative MicroProTM technology.

What this means is that the advanced propellant systems in the concentrated formula allow it to be dispensed with reduced and more controlled flow rates.

The technology delivers the same amount of active ingredients per second as traditionally formulated products, but with a reduced volume of inert ingredients.

While other brands create cans with double the amount of product, Tri-Die in its 8-ounce bottle has the same effect than the other competing brands with a 16-ounce bottle.

While the bigger cans cost more money, this product saves you time in application and money when buying, as it has the same effect as cans who might come in bigger sizes.

The charged pressurized particles of dust penetrate deep into the inside of cracks and crevices and wall voids, giving your more active ingredients per spray than other competing brands.

This makes the product more efficient per application, smaller and more ideal for applying in confined spaces, and makes it easier to store.

This powerful broad-spectrum insecticidal dust might come in a small package but it packs a big punch. Killing on contact and repelling more than 42+ species of bugs.

It works in three ways, as contact kill, repellant, and for residual control. The dust once expelled into the crack or void is attracted to the insect’s oily or waxy outer cuticle. Insects that receive contact with the dust lose moisture and die.

Some of the pests targeted are Ants (Excluding Fire, Harvester Pharaoh) Bed Bugs, Cockroaches, Crickets, Lice, Spiders, Termites, Fleas, Beetles, Earwigs, among many more.

This product is labeled to be used in and around Apartments, Food Handling Establishments (Including Food Processing Plants, Food Storage Areas, Meat Packing Areas, Restaurants), Homes, Hospitals, Motels, Nursing Homes, Schools, Supermarkets, Transportation Equipment (Buses, Boats Ships Trains), Warehouses and Other Commercial and Industrial Buildings.

For use indoor in openings around pipes and sinks, under refrigerators, behind baseboards, washing machines, stoves, cabinets, sewer, floor drains and meter boxes.

Outside in cracks and crevices, voids in foundation, porches, patios, around door and windows, under siding, beneath guards on loading docks and other places where insects may harbor.

In food areas as a limited crack and crevice treatment which include areas of receiving, serving, storing (dry, cold, frozen, raw), packing (canning, bottling, wrapping, boxing) preparing (cleaning, slicing, cooking, grinding), and in edible waste storage and enclosed processing systems (mills, dairies, edible oils, syrups).

Before handling and using this product make sure to use the appropriate personal protective equipment labeled on the product, (you can buy protective equipment here) and read all labeled instructions and warnings before using.

Before using this product on floors or carpets or as baseboard treatment make sure to test it out before applying, and make sure the product will not leave permanent stains in your floor or carpet.

Make sure to shake well before using.

As this is a broad-spectrum insecticide there are detailed instructions on how to apply for indoors for each species of pest, check the label for application rates if you’re dealing with a specific type of pest.

To use this product indoor as crack and crevice or void application simply inject the tube into the opening or crack and crevices found around your home, where you have noticed insect activity and where insects may harbor.

Some of these places where insects may harbor include under appliances, between cabinets, around pipes and sinks, under the refrigerator, behind baseboards, around washing machines, in crack or crevices found in closets, and equipment legs and bases.

Once the tube has been injected into crack or crevice spray for approximately one second and move injector along at a rate of approximately 3 feet per second.

For closed voids and hollow spaces in walls calculate the void’s cubic area and treat at a rate of 3-5 seconds per 3 cubic feet.

You can also drill holes in long-running voids or hollow spaces in walls where the injection tube can be applied to properly treat these areas.

This product leaves a white residue behind so carry around a damp cloth that will help you clean residual product or accidental leakage that forms in non-target areas.

To use as contact spray in rooms apply from a distance of 18 to 24 inches away and at a rate of 10 seconds per room, or 10 seconds per 100 square feet in commercial areas.

Make sure to evacuate the rooms that are sprayed and wait about 2 hours before ventilating and re-entering the room.

This aerosol spray might clog, to prevent this, turn the can upside down after each application and spray in the open air until just air leaves the canister.  This will clear the nozzle and prevent clogging.

To use a perimeter barrier around structures identify crack and crevices around your home and spray injecting the application tube in wall voids, on porches and patios, on cracks or crevices, behind siding, around windows and door frames.

This powerful insecticidal dust has the trifecta effect (after all its called tri-die) of controlling insects by killing on contact, repelling insects, and providing residual control to prevent re-infestation of pests.

Developed by the largest chemical producer company in the world, you get more than 150 years of expertise and know-how mainly marketed to professionals.

With its MicroProTM technology, you get more bang for your buck, and you can use the product without the use of handheld duster applicator. If you’re in need of a crack and crevice treatment this product is the way to go.
