Tri-Die Dust
11/04/25
Tri-Die Dust, manufactured by BASF, is a powerful broad-spectrum insecticidal dust that treats more than 29 pests including cockroaches, beetles, bees, ticks, bed bugs and fleas.
This easy to apply dust formulation has a triple action feature that serves both as a repellent with contact kill, as well as providing a residual control that lasts many months against a variety of targeted pests.
Tri-Die Dust not only provides residual control, but creates an uninhabitable environment for labeled pests for both indoor and outdoor areas.
Tools Needed
Tri-Die Dust can be applied without tools, however, a handheld pesticide duster can be used to treat hard to reach areas and make the application easier and more precise.
Applications with power duster equipment are prohibited.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Tri-Die Dust you will need to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure and multiply the area length times the width (length x width = square footage). Tri-Die is to be applied at the rate of 1 oz. per 50 sq. ft. of surface area or 1 lb. per 1,000 sq. ft. of surface area for severe infestations. Do not apply Tri-Die Dust more than once per day.
- Step 2: Pour the appropriate amount of Tri-Die Dust in a handheld duster.
- Step 3: Apply a continuous, visible film underneath and behind stairs, refrigerators, and appliances. Treat cracks, crevices, insect tunnels, and/or voids with a small amount of product, but thorough application. Areas labeled only for spot treatment per the product label instructions will need to be < 3 ft. x 3 ft. per room. Check treated areas 1 to 2 days after application to ensure complete pest elimination.
Where to Use
Tri-Die Dust is labeled to be used in and around apartments, campgrounds, food handling establishments (including food processing plants, food storage areas, meat and poultry processing plants, restaurants, and USDA inspected facilities), homes, hospitals, hotels, institutions, motels, nursing homes, office buildings, resorts, schools, supermarkets, transportation equipment (buses, boats, ships, trains, trucks, planes), utilities, warehouses, and other commercial and industrial buildings.

DO NOT use in aircraft cabins.
