Tourney Fungicide
Tourney Fungicide is a powerful, broad-spectrum fungicide that prevents and eliminates tough turf diseases, delivering exceptional turf quality with low use rates and reduced environmental impact.
04/25/26
Tourney Fungicide, manufactured by Nufarm, is an exceptional preventative and curative systemic fungicide against major turf diseases, including fairy ring and summer patch, while promoting superior turf quality with minimal environmental impact due to its low use rates.
This water-dispersable granule fungicide is powered by the active ingredient metconazole, which inhibits fungal growth and reproduction of many plant-pathogenic fungi, effectively controlling diseases like brown patch, rust, dollar ring, and more. As a systemic, Tourney Fungicide works from the inside out, traveling through plant tissues to protect from and cure fungal diseases.
Tourney Fungicide is an elite turf disease control fungicide that ensures turf in lawns, golf courses, and landscape areas is well-protected for 14-28 days. Perfect for high-end golf courses, athletic fields, sod farms, and landscapes where appearance and playability matter, Tourney delivers consistent results season after season.
Tools Needed
A handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig can be used.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Tourney Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the disease, apply 0.18 to 0.44 oz. of Tourney Fungicide per 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For crown and root diseases, use 2 to 4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For spot treatment, mix 0.1 to 0.2 oz of product per gallon of water. For broader applications, use 8 to 19.2 oz. of product per 100 gallons of water per acre.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of the leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. For control of foliar diseases, allow turf to dry before irrigation. For control of soil-borne diseases, the product can be watered in after application. For optimal control, reapply after 21 days. Do not apply more than 4 pounds of product per acre per year.
Where to Use
Tourney Fungicide can be used in turfgrass on golf courses, lawns, and landscape areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas, athletic fields, and sod farms.
Do not apply directly to bermudagrass greens.
When to Use
Apply to dry turf or after mowing when the disease is present or before it has appeared. This product can injure golf course greens if applications are made when temperatures are above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Avoid applications if rainfall is expected to occur within the next 48 hours after treatment.
Safety Information
Tourney Fungicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not graze animals on treated areas for one year after application.
Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until the spray has dried.
