Terrazole L Fungicide
Terrazole L Fungicide is a systemic, broad-spectrum fungicide specially formulated for the control of soil-borne fungi in commercial container-grown ornamentals, bedding plants, and turfgrass.
11/04/25
Terrazole L Fungicide, manufactured by OHP, is a reliable and effective commercial fungicide solution for managing soil-borne fungal diseases in ornamental plants and turf.
The power behind this emusifiable concentrate is etridiazole, a fungicide classified as FRAC Group 14. Etridiazole works by inhibiting the development of fungal cell membranes, effectively stopping the pathogen before it can damage plant tissue.
Terrazole L Fungicide systemic action, versatility in application methods, and targeted control of Pythium and Phytophthora species make it an invaluable tool for growers and turf managers. By integrating Terrazole L into your disease management program, you can ensure healthier plants and more resilient turf.
Tools Needed
It can be applied with a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or chemigation system.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Terrazole L Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). To treat golf course turf (tees and greens), mix 1.5 to 3 fl. oz. of Terrazole L Fungicide in 2 to 5 gallons of water and apply to 1000 sq. ft. The application rates for ornamentals will vary based on pot size. For example, a container that is 4 inches will require 2 fl. oz. of product. For bedding plants, flowering plants, foliage plants, and woody ornamentals, use 2.7 to 7 fl. oz. of product with 100 gallons of water. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the last half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until mixed. For chemigation systems, fill according to the manual instructions.
- Step 3: For turf, spray evenly across the treatment area until wet, but not to the point of runoff. For ornamental foliage, apply as a drench around and on the foliage. To improve penetration of the fungicide, the drenching must be followed with an additional quantity of water equal to at least half the volume of the fungicidal drench, applied either by sprinkling or irrigation.
Where to Use
Terrazole L Fungicide is only for commercial nurseries and greenhouses. It may also be used for golf course turf (greens and tees).
Use in residential greenhouses or other indoor plant sites is prohibited.
Not for use on home lawns, sod farms or municipal parks.
When to Use
Use as a preventative treatment at the beginning of propagation or transplanting.
Safety Information
Terrazole L Fungicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not allow animals to graze on treated areas and do not feed clippings from treated areas to animals.
Keep people and pets out of the treated area until 24 hours have passed after application.
Special Considerations
Posting of areas to be chemigated is required when:
Any part of a treated area is within 300 feet of sensitive areas such as residential areas, labor camps, businesses, day care centers, hospitals, in-patient clinics, nursing homes or any public areas such as schools, parks, playgrounds or other public facilities not including public roads.
When the chemigated area is open to the public, such as golf courses or retail greenhouses.

| Keith's Pro Tips | "Combinations of Terrazole L Fungicide with fungicides, insecticides, plant growth regulators or fertilizers should be checked for compatibility before tank mixing. Use a jar test to mix the recommended proportions of each product in a volume of water which is proportionate to the expected field use rate. The mix is considered compatible if it remains stable or can be easily reconstituted by shaking after standing for 5 minutes." |
